    Nice work ! :thumb:

Just an idea : maybe you repeat the black pattern on other sides of the Illuminati, like on the left side buttons...

Very nice! Sorry if I'm smiling a little, but you've put in that nice plexy-box quite the same stuff I'm working on in these days... :hehe:
Trying to set up a small HTPC with a laptop DVD, laptop HD, mATX m/b, SFF PSU and so on....
Hope I'll have the same luck you've had with this project.

    I like it

It looks quite nice in the dark. With the lights on my only gripes are with the messy cables (hey, it isa clear case!) and the choice of switches. There are so many nicer looking switches out there, maybe 'upgrade' them at somepoint :p

Very Nice looking case there :D.

I am also building a case from acrylic. I am using 3mm clear acrylic, I am using 12mm cubes in each corner for scewing the sides to.

I have used wet and dry sandpaper on the edges of mine and i tried polishing the edges with my dremel and the buffing disk, but it still isn't fully clear :sigh:

So how did you end up doing all the polishing? flame polishing?
I'd prefer not do any flame polishing after reading it can crack the acrylic :duh:

I did read the whole thread, yes all the text, but I didn't see what you actually used. I remeber reading the part about where someone else posted a link to a discussion about flame polisihing, and you had posted in it about the bad effects.

I also remember reading before that, that you were using flame polishing so i guess you continued to flame polish?

Is there any other ways that give the same nice effect?

get a flame and carefully only just melt the edge, it will go smooth

And I remember that I said, I flame polished it, even showed a few pictures of the damn torch !! :wallbash: :wallbash:

Never said it had bad effects, but when using a flame polished edge with chloroform (on another strong solvent) it can crack a bit. now reread it and you’ll see.
