Coolermeister, would it be possible on the bottom block (in the picture) to use a piece of 5mm acrylic and tap the acrylic and copper. This would give a slightly larger gap between the tail pieces. If not you could you not find some tail pieces (not the DD high flow ones) that could be cut down but still run clamped tubing?

Nice project. Cant wait too see it finished

PS i really like your idea of mounting the res on the front of your other wave. It was a shame that you could make it water tight.

I removed the sticker on my NV5 silencer and there was a ton of sticky goo on it. Used rubbing alcohol took it right off. Also depending on what the matterial is i would be carefull about what you use.

Cheers for the input everyone ;)

I'm going to wait till the cards turn up and see how they actually mount onto the board before making any decisions but i think some sort of bracket will be needed.

Anyway.....Sli cards still not arrived so decided to do some of the stuff i usually leave till the last minute.

Got a 3.5" Nexus fan controller with bl00 leds and decided to change them over to green to keep in with the theme.

Quite an easy mod really that's been seen a thousand time before but i'll post a series of pic's anyway

Started off with a standard bl00 3.5" controller
    [IMG]

Carefully bend the legs of the LED to 90 degree right angle
    [IMG]

/.....so it ended up like this
    [IMG]

From the back, already soldered into place
    [IMG]

    1 down.......just another 4 to do
    [IMG]

...and with all 5 changed to green
    [IMG]

And the sanded bezel which will be polished later back in place

yeah, the green is a big improvement over the stock bl00. I'm really glad to see that blue for the sake of blue mods are pretty much over with and that most new blue mods are acutally good mods (Divergence comes to mind). But that aside, the green/uber-polished-aluminum-that-could-easily-pass-for-chrome is an awesome combo. I hope your cards come soon!

Now offers your exact mod, see the front news page.

Im planning on sending back my new NV-68 block for 2x SLI ones for my A8N.

I was originally just going to pickup another normal NV-68 when I bought my second card, but this will make life easier instead of using elbow fittings :D

Not yet, but ATI has their own thing in development which will most likely require their own mobo chipset.
