PSU Recommend a new psu

    Decided to find a little extra cash and be sucked in by the "i"

    Corsair AX760i Digital 760W Full Modular Power Supply

    thanks for the advice - hoping for years of thankless silent service now :)

    Good buy, I'm slightly jealous of the software monitoring capabilities of the "i" range from Corsair, even though I know I'd never need to use it. It's just cool :D

    new psu installed and so far so good. pc is alive again.

    the monitoring software is pretty impressive - it automatically detected all the hardware i've got hooked up and the fans running on it - even separates out the gfx card fan!

    I have my fans running off a fan controller but am deeply considering hooking them all up to the motherboard so it can monitor them aswell :)
