Just a suggestion for the logo. I don't know how much space there is between the IDE rack and the window, but it would look really cool if you made an aluminum plate that covered the rack and engraved the logo in it. Just an idea, as i don't think you should bring a new design element (black acrylic) into the mod now. (looks great as it is :D)

ooo that does sound nice i agree.,

If i went down that route i would haft to enlist the services of someone with access to a CNC mill. i think MDK might as he has access to a lazer cutter, so he might have access to a CNC mill aswell.

Unless i asked him whether he could lazer cut the logo out of 3mm polished steel sheet :naughty: ,

Some good ideas, adding a logo and a cover for the drive bays. Those drive bays just don't fit in with the clean look of a Lian Li. Was one of the first things I made plans for before I started my project.

Hmm... the edges of those bar things make me think you should experiment with an alarm clock type font (some 7-segment led looking thing). Not so sure about that square root thing... makes me think it's thirty-something SLI^.5 (no, that doesn't work in text easily, and yes I spend too much time working with numbers). I like the same one [shonuff] does as well, but the double-line on the V looks kinda strange and/or out of place imo.

true im starting to dislike the idea of a perspex logo i might see if i can get one lazer cut by MDK when hes bk.

Ill do some more logo designs later on tonight,

    Right main thing was this

I got around to converting my shuttle back to aircooling, and now i have these bits laying around not doing anything .I might, either sell or incorporate some how into this project, Maby a second loop for the cpu and chipset the first loop for the gfx .

    Bits...................

Danger Den dd12vd4 (converted to take any 1/4" fittings I.e compression)
    Innovatek Tank-o-matic
Dangerden Maze4 (converted to 10mm Compression)
    x-ice xgk Gpu block
    Black ice micro
    Danger den nv-68 (1/2")
Danger den TDX with nozzle kit (1/2")

Im thinking of using the res and the pump for my second loop maby the BIM aswell the rest at the moment is not required and is sitting on my shelf, if any one is intrested , give us a pm.

Any ways dunno how second loop would be done , want your ideas for that

    Sc4mpi out...

    EDIT:

    Gfx 1 = 36 idel - 41 load
    Gfx 2 = 38 idel - 43 load

Inside (i think it would look quite funky there with the water flowing :hip: )

On the back (suppose would be better for filling,)

    On the back again.

For looks id put it inisde, as then it'll glow nicely, and look great, for simplicity and practicality (easy filling) id put it on the back, id put inside, and have it on velcro or some quick release so you can just lift it up to fill etc etc

    looking great!

    Great job!
And inside just looks better IMHO. Filling should not be that bad. How often do u fill watercooling system?

The res looks alot better inside in my opinion. Would be better if you LAN or move your computer quite a bit too.

Did a bit of moddege over the weekend, to try to solve a problem. Basicly the psu was sucking all the hot air in off the hdd's and making itself piping hot, so i decided to sort that out by swapping the pump and hds around so now the hd rack has some good airflow :D , Ow and i took koegsmk's advice and hide the 12v cable :D (looks nice i recon now)

The new postion of the hd rack and pump, ^^^^^^^^^^^

The stealthed 12v AUX connector (ta koegsmk) ^^^^^^^^^^

Ow and every modder needs a trusty stead , jsut so they can appear at the most inapropriate time and trample all over the stuff your trying to mod :hehe:

So your putting your hdd rack next to the rear 120mm fan :O :O but then it will cover your lovely CPU block!

if there were any free drive bays in the case you could of mounted 2x HDDs in one 5in bay.... but youd still have ventilation problems

wouldnt it be posible to mount a 120mm fan on the side panel, in line with the HDD's sucking the hot air out, thats what id do, but personally ive never owned such a buetiful case myself so hmm...

this project really owns all others... im noticing alot of the v1000's and v2000's being modded, and all of them seem to bring some kickass mods

yours is my favourite Lian-Li Vxxxx mod so far

    keep moddin :dremel:

Edit: by the way, love your cat, very purdy

Edit2: nice job on the 12v stealthing... i didnt even realise it was there till i took a harder look at the picture :O well done

Lol sorry no its my fault for laying the pics and lables like that :wallbash: , The Hd rack has been moved infront of the 120mm intake at the front of case,
    (top picture)

The second picture is of the hidden 12v aux connector.

I still might but i would mount the 2 system drives in waterblocks and then add them to the loop., but i dont know wether i could scrap the dual bay res as like it alot. :D
