Motors Seen anything cool on the road lately?

Yep, I've got an 05 350z. Here it is next to my 86 300zx.

 

Haven't seen a 458 in Bristol actually. Saw many at MPH last year though...better looking than in photos, yes. But good looking car? IMO...hardly. But naturally, I would say that

saw an original mini in baby blue today. no big deal for you brits but its the first time ive seen one in person.

 

No pics as they were going opposite direction on the highway but there were 4 cars rolling together. A ferrari, a lambo, a GTR and a R8. Not sure on the models of ferrari and lambo as they went by real quick and I just caught them in the mirror when my brother who was driving pointed them out. Must be nice to afford / drive one of those :|

 

Today's Ferrari bokeh in Bristol is a 612 Scaglietti...I prefer the 458 without a doubt. Here's both terrible snaps to show off my fail

Is it just me that gets physically turned on by the sight of an Audi R8?

 

I've pissed off many a lady by descending into paroxysms of ecstasy when an R8 blasts by.

It's gotten so bad that one of my friends made a folder on my desktop called 'Porn' and filled it with ~100 pictures of cars, primarily of the 'super' variety.

EDIT: On reflection, maybe this is why I have generally bad luck with the dames.

 

I know. It's a travesty. I've been trying to find a good set of wheels, but have been blinded by the very expensive rays nismo wheels. And don't have ~4K to spend on them.

 

So I rode past a M3 pulled over with a wheel on the pavement, and I thought 'No biggie, he's got a flat tyre'.

Upon closer inspection, said tyre was missing the central hub as well half the length of the spokes. I then noticed that the hub was still attached to the car and that the prat had gone too fast up to the roundabout and gone straight into the kerb and one of the signs on it. I actually laughed rather loudly in my helmet which drew some odd glances. Luckily, the only casualties were the bloke's dignity, his front bumper, wheel and the poor roundabout's sign.

 

My friend has a 350z with the GT pack...those RAYS!!!! I can't stand to look at them they are so beautiful!

 

McLauren MP412-C Test car in Surrey (on Test from Paragon).. Bottom half blue and covered in sensors, top half orange. Had to do a double take... Sounded absolutely stunning even when burbling about at 20mph...

I saw two identical BMW 118d yesterday driving together, they where brand new and both had very similar number plates only last 3 figures were different. Is this odd? or is it just a company car thing?

 

Not just seen on the road. I drove a Cayman S with a 6-speed manual 'box. NEVER HAD MORE FUN IN MY LIFE. Compared to anything else I've ever driven, the thing is a dream. Standing starts on empty streets are like rocket launches.

The whole car just sort of leans forward against the brakes, then you drop the handle and floor it, jumps to about 4000rpm and you're doing a hundred clicks before you know it.

MY LIFE IS COMPLETE!

 

I know this says a lot about me but I like the look of the Focus RS. The downside is that I reckon there must be one in every town which takes away from its beauty. Could be more to do with the technical brilliance of the thing rather than its green-ness.

 

Saw a purple Lambo Diablo Targa. Looked odd. Not to mention it had a very dissapointing sound for a V12.

Guy driving couldn't shift for his life.

 

I was surrounded by cool cars (though nothing "OMG-INSANE") two days ago in peak-traffic:
2 AMG C63 Mercs, one white and to my left, one grey and to my right and a Blue Audi RS4 in front of me...
