Here is a quick pic of my first city - Maruko in the region of Lingor...

42,000 people and doing well, but I have totally run out of room to build anything else.

I wated to make nice curvy roads and not grids, so there is a lot of 'wasted' space!

    Nicely mapped out.

I am facing a water crisis. I am being bombarded with water issues constantly. Is it a bug?

No, you need quite a lot of water towers or a Water Pumping Station. The water towers sometimes get polluted, so you need to keep an eye on them!

But it doesn't. Without a server connection I've noticed glitches in traffic patterns, and region interactions being squiffy. Yes the individual agents still run, but the game isn't quite right.

Oh, what's the screenshot button anybody?

'C' is the screenshot button - puts it in the documents/sim city folder.

Well, here's my first city - I have another two in the region that are providing support (one is mainly industry and the other is a commuter town with a dash of commercial).

Really need to earn more money though, none of my cities are raking it in :(

Does anyone else have the problem/bug of employed people and businesses closing because they can't find anyone to employ? Also I seem to have run out of space and get stuck at about 44k population. Enjoying the game otherwise.

Yes, it happens because you simply don't have the population to support the businesses. Unlike previous games in the series I'm finding that my industry/commercial areas need to be much smaller.

44k pop? Are your residential buildings all high rise? I'm getting to 90k with no real issues before starting to run into power and water issues (Nuclear stations are awesome, but gobble water)

I almost got to 300k pop just got the level 6 city hall then had a monster crush a load of my housing and industry and went bankrupt and couldn't pull it back. You have to walk such a fine profit margin one balls up and its all wasted.

I'm having a rather large issue involving getting my lower level workers to commute.

    Trying to figure it out.

    Hmm slight issue:

Piece of advice, don't make tourist towns on a single road connection city.

But anyways this is what it looks like... really struggling to fund it now though... it has massive crime rate for some reason but I can't afford another police station :/ Yeh still trying to work out how to support high pop cities...

The biggest problem I was having with close to 300k pop was traffic, at 100k buss waiting time was 27 mins at 300k it was over 90 nothing could move then a monster came and trashed some of my most productive buildings so I had no chance.

I also found that getting over 200k kills my GPU, I was getting 99% usage and 5/12fps but my CPU was ok
