Well completed UKARA yesterday evening at an evening CQB game. Ordered a new pistol today. And will be ordering more at the end of the month when i get my Christmas bonus/. Simple enough, have a few ideas for mods to make it something very special but for now will just be adding a light of somekind and thats about it
Personal equipment mini update: Finally got around to acquiring a new barrel for my oar (old one was starting to corrode and there there were some scratches on the inside). New one - 450mm 6.03 steel, also moved back to ported cylinder and swapped for a new spring. After ~7years of the abuse (sand, mud, snow, rain, -25C weather, it has seen it all) not a lot of original parts are in this thing, but gears & piston are among them for some reason. Now only need to get a new buttpad from somewhere... Also, after loosing gopro in a shoulder high grass (it was found eventually), got myself a molle compatible base mount, lets see how that goes.
I do like that looks lovely. I got another new gun at the weekend, Firehawk by G&G, Got a tracer unit on the end of it as well as my main plan for it is CQB and places where its darker than usual. Will put up pictures of it at some point when i do a full Family gun shot
I have loads of old airsoft guns sat in the cupboard including some weird stuff like rotary shell launchers and old guns that are 20+ years old. I should really get it all out and have a play.
thats nice, im still using a soft swiss arms bag, but then i only have the M4a1 so its not really a problem
I am also a fan, altho I'm considering replacing it with a 9" version and a 10.3" outer barrel, make it a little less unwieldy in cqb.
Resurrecting this, recently moved over to Leeds and looking to take up the sport again in a month or so - mainly have a P90 based CQB load out but I might take my Aug out for a spin in the outdoors too... any recommendations for locations?
Ooh, if this thread's becoming a thing again I should re-upload my shiny toy - Flickr seems to have deleted it, probably 'cos I went over the free image allowance limit. State of the bad-ass art, man. Stay frosty.
Yarp. (The prop guns were M1A1 Thompsons, too, chambered for .45 ACP, with Remington M870 and Franchi SPAS 12 parts glued to it. And fibreglass, SO MUCH FIBREGLASS.)
