Yeah, but no but.. it probably side-lined a whole bunch of Trump supporters.

Strangely, I'm not feeling outraged about this one.

Yeah, they both pretty much tally with what I managed to find - wasn't sure if what I'd seen was reliable but the data seems consistent in most places.

One other question - what is the cause of the continual spikes/decreases to virtually nothing/spike again, albeit in a downward trend? It's not something daft but simple like stats aren't collected at weekends, is it?

Pretty much that, no/minimal reporting at weekends.

That does the Riddler a disservice, he was at least logically consistent (albeit obtuse).

Million pound question, did they have kids?

If not I'm submitting this to the Darwin Awards.

You knew it was coming as soon as Gove said they shouldn't be compulsory.

One question, why do 11year olds and under not have to wear them?

Not like kids are good virus spreaders and bad at covering their mouths if they sneeze or anything.

This feels like a product of the upside down way we're being told. The point is that everyone should wear them, but criminalising under 12s is probably not ideal so they're exempt from the enforcement. But that message is lost on a public hell bent on doing the minimum required to not get a fine.

because the most readily available ones probably don't fit kids properly? and good luck getting a sprog to keep it on.

Maybe whoever came up with this **** thinks that if the parents have them on, the kid can't infect them...

..and they favour a one child policy.

I think in Japan they only advise not putting masks on children under 2.

My friends have bought face masks for their children of 5 and 6 years old. The masks have images of horses on one, and I think Spiderman on the other.

I have got some face masks for my kids. My youngest wasn't keen on the idea until he saw it had a picture of Pikachu on, then he was all for it.
