Very much a Trump vs Clinton situation - we voted in an ar$ehole because the opposition was unpalatable. The difference being Trump was an moronic incompetent ar$ehole and Boris is a well-educated, scheming yet incompetent ar$ehole. Yeah, we deserve to burn.
Boris and his cabinet are driven by ego and personal financial gain and, don't give a monkey's about anyone else. If they drive this country to economic ruin and sacrifice another 100,000 people, that's the next government's problem, they'll be rolling in their ill-gotten gains.
Sounds like it's been kicking off in the Netherlands. Not sure if the riots are purely anti lockdown or have just had a bunch of extras turn up for a rumble.
Except the whole business in Italy is an attempt by the far right to seize control by undermining the incumbent government's ability to operate. A lot like Bojo's career for the five years before he became PM and 'got Brexit done,' if anything they are using the Brexiteers as a model. Although this will be Italy's 66th government in 75 years, so maybe it's just another round of the country's permanent rolling crisis that's been going on since about... 200BC.
Yeah, i'm aware he's not doing it out of a sense of responsibility and it's a power grab. They do like to change governnents dont they. As for BoJo. "We did everything we could". No you didn't and what you did do you did too late. You can't hide from this you wafflemeister.
Bozo now says he takes full responsibility for the handling of the pandemic. That means nothing, unless he resigns.
I think he's telling the truth in a roundabout way. He did everything he could, to weaken the UK workforce and NHS's bargaining position in the near future, create an 'employer's market' and enrich his friends and associates in a manner so rapid as to be unprecedented. He's created a scenario where as long as he's still in office by the time the crisis ends he's guaranteed several years of strong economic 'growth' up to the next election. Nevermind that will be massively behind where we were at the end of 2015 and probably still behin dwhere we were at the end of 2007, he can show a lovely upward graph.
Someone should remind Boris Johnson that saying the words "I take full responsibility" does not actually constitute taking full responsibility if nothing else you say indicates that you take any responsibility whatsoever.
Sorry mate, what do you mean by 'it'? It in general or a specific it? Edit: ah the thing about him saying they did everything the could? That gobshitery?
The whole world wants it, the centres for manufacturing are (checks notes) all in the European Union. Oh look, it's about Brexit again. I am scheduled for my first jab tomorrow, wish me luck.
