The thoughts "oh no not again... they'll kick my backside" were probably running through his head, but it did look fantastic :D

Well I assumed that Vettel would be on pole and looks like I was right. When the commentator said "what will it take to beat him" the first thing that came into my head was "a hammer".

Anyway at least Ferrari seems a bit more competitive and the weather might shake things up a little.

Anyone watching Le Mans? Under a Safety Car from a massive crash. Safety Car has been out for around 1 hour 45 to 2 hours now.

It's almost unbelievable that both McNish and Rockenfeller were both ok. I was watching the second crash live and I think most people were fearing the worse. That Audi safety cell is amazing, the designers should be deeply proud of themselves.

The safety car was out for so long that it had to come in for fuel, indeed longer than the whole race will be tomorrow :)

Off to bed now, another big day of motorsport tomorrow :D

I think Kobayashi is great for F1, reminds me of Montoya.

Followed by the Audi of Rockenfeller. The team say the driver got out the car himself, I hope this is true.

Damn, lots of crashes this year - to win at Le Mans you have to finish!

I think those guys are mental racing at night at such high speeds TBH.

I watched the McNish crash a few times and each time it seems more amazing that no one was killed behind the barrier. Good everyone is ok, and GUTTED within the first hour all that preparation and training, for an early pack up to go home:(
Iwant the last Audi to win now:D

Why? Because he's a racer and wants to win?

Yeah but there are lines, his decisions this year have just been awful and made him look an rookie, not a racer.

Because he races like a guy who often calls the suicide line (in short, he doesn't care for his own or his opponents life).

There was nothing wrong with the moves he made today. He unfortunately fell foul of the rain but what's the alternative? Don't bother racing while it's raining?

Apart from ploughing into the side of Webber who gave him space, over driving the hair pin and Jenson was fair enough.

    So yeah, great few laps!

And I never said anything, I'm actually currently annoyed the safety car is out because it's raining. Lewis is losing a lot of fans this year by acting like a petulant rookie.

I don't think Lewis hasn't done anything wrong in this race, he has tried to make a few overtakes - but his incident with Jenson was a racing incident.

This is getting a bit boring watching the safety car though...
