Thanks It's starting to take off again i got alot done over the weakened.
But "Who cares bout the hardware" Me lol, I look at it like a car. basically why have a pretty case when you can't even run cs 1.6? lol.. I'm hoping that at least by xmass i can have some decent parts in it. this is a list I've had floating around for this budget/ but performance based.

    CPU- AMD Athlon 64 X2 4000+ Brisbane 2.1GHz
MOBO- BIOSTAR TFORCE 550 AM2 NVIDIA nForce 550 MCP
PSU- XCLIO GOODPOWER 500W ATX 500W
    Ram- Patriot Extreme Performance 1GB
    GPU- BFG Tech BFGR7950256GTOCE GeForce 7950GT 256MB
This will most likely change, depending on money avilible. im going to be building a micro atx system so that'll have a stable system to have around. it'll be dell gx270 board temporary and then upgrading it but thats another story.

Alright, small update. Me and 500mph have striped all the horrible looking paint off (power tools rock) and i have just finished sanding it and its down to bare plastic on the top panel and the left side panel.

Have been watching this for a while, and i gotta say, its coming up really well, have a Q for you though, Are you going to be using the section of the Fan Guard on the side panel at all?, i thought it was a brilliant idea, would really set the side panel apart from the rest of em. I kinda liked the orange peel effect, got that flame appeal to it, none the less, case is begining to take shape and looking good.

I agree. The yellow seems to play much sharper off the black paint. Looking good!

Thanks, I can't be leave i missed this before. but i've come up with a good solution..
The problem is when we cut these top blow holes, the circle saw went nuts (no 500mph, im not holding this aginst you we BOTH over looked it) any way, there TOO off center to even mount the fans, on the inside. so im thinking if i make it so that the two 60mm fans are mounted Externally, then bondo it so its flush, even tho it'd give me a nasty bump on the top i could make a handle in to it also.. Idk this is just a thought. any ideas on this are welcome.

(lol well, cool effect on the flash)

Also im thinking of modding This in to the front "sun ray fan grill" as the hdd indicator. so that, when the hdd is "Active" it'll light up the rays, they'll be a yellow glow behind them at all times from the cfl tubes inside the case then the red rays will light up when the hdd is active.

Got to lazy to update this. But I've got the front pretty planed out, to lazy to go in to real details. here's a list of parts im ordering once i get the money (just cosmetic stuff for right now)
Sunbeam 12" Cathode Light Kit Sleeved - Yellow
SilverStone Aluminum I/O Panel II - Black
Scythe "KAMA-METER" Multi Functional Controller for 5.25" Bay
    A.C. Ryan AcrylPanel™ 3mm - 480x480mm Clear
    A.C. Ryan MeshxPanel™ HEXX 500x500mm 1.0mm Alu - Black
Crystal Clear 80mm Fan Sleeved (x2)
Military Switch with Style Cover w/Amber LED
    LED Indicator Lamp - Amber
    now to get some money:sigh:
And on the top panel, the plan i have now is. some sort of mesh (the psu im getting has a 120 fan on the top) and it'll be meshed all the way back to the psu from were the 2 holes are.

lol, till i get a dremmel on this, this is what the top to holes are for.lol...

But im cutting the howl top out kinda. like a big rectangle. think a rad. but its not it's just for hot air + the psu. it might get water cooled one day.. just not any time soon. thats for another case im planing..

btw: picked up applications for big lots, and one for game stop.. :D there for. i'll have income soon.

Much better. The external fans just didn't cut it in the looks department. Much better to have a large vent on the top and let it passively cool. Hot air rises after all.

Props to you for using that fan cover as grill covers. That's genious there. I like where this is headed.

rather than scrapping the top entirely, why not just have the fans side-by-side, then including ducts to them - a-la the classic front panel turbine.

You know, thats a good idea, and i should have considered that.. but the psu im going to be dropping in this actually has a 120 fan on top, so we went ahead and cut the top out.
