It was posted before on a few occasions, nothing new & there are far, far worse ones out there of animal cruelty ( www.theync.com )- which was kinda my point; it's natural behaviour though for one animal to slaughter another; hardly natural for a fish to be frozen and thawed out though...

 

Hmm, some 'interesting' videos there. Animal cruelty is wrong. Period.

But with that snapping Turtle video, isn't that what would happen out in the wild anyway? It just so happens someone has done it at home and recorded. Would you object to feeding live Crickets to a Lizard?

Another fair point, when you see this stuff on programs like Frozen Planet and the likes, do you change channel?

This sort of thing happens all the time. You can't complain that this is animal cruelty. Dangling the rat over the tank would be, but letting the Turtle feed isn't.

I reckon a few of you saw that video a few years ago where 2 guys rammed a cat into a cage and set it alight? That, that is animal cruelty. Feeding a Turtle isn't.

Putting a fish in liquid Nitrogen though? Little tasteless.

 

OK my *ss. There's a reason the fish was a the bottom of the flask. Sudden changes in temp destroy the swim bladder.

We all know that animal cruelty is an unfortunate for some but natural way of life out there in the wild, but when it's happening in the suburbs at the hands of humans, it's an unnecessarily barbaric way of life.

TL;DR if you want to feed your pet super fresh meat, at least kill the victim as painlessly as possible/humanely.
