    Listening to the new album from Within Temptation at the moment.

    It sound a bit pop-ish, but somehow they make it sound pretty good. (Although the sound mix is pretty harsh TBH.)

    Iron have a pretty awesome intro :)

    And while I'm listening to it I'm trying very hard to get things to gather so I can see them in Pittsburgh later this month. Cage The Elephant and The Joy Formidable in concert and it just had to be in the middle of a workweek.

    I've always loved this band but not being much of a muso I've got by listening to their greatest hits cd for many years, always with the intention of getting to know their whole work better but not getting round to it.

    So I was listening to an interview on Simon Mayo's Drivetime (Radio 2) the other evening and he said that this was his favourite song of all their work.

    I didn't recognise the title so had to look it up and it turns out it's on their best album and that I do know it (from about 19 years ago - can't believe I've not listened to the album since then).

    Played it at least 10 times in the last 2 hours. An absolute beauty:

    So good to sing to. Should be sung in schools etc.
