Yeah but you pay for it in the amount of chrome you have to polish

It'd be interesting to see how that goes for you.
I know that for me going from car to bike helped massively, and you're doing it the more traditional way, just remember not to try and filter in the car

Matt black covers coming out for the PS5 Slim next month.

I have been on the notification list for dbrand too but it looks like theirs won't be able to be used horizontally which is absolutely stupid.

Anyway, soon the gloss shall go. Abhorrent shiny glare that it is.

Just had a partial refund on an Ebay purchase because it came with no power supply and they couldn't find one... I'm a little sus about that as there was a testing and data clearance certificate with it.

But hey, it means that I got a TP Link 8 port (inc 4 x PoE) gigabit switch for £15...

And a 48v x 1.25A power brick is not silly price.

Just moved home (finally!) and went from Virgin Gig1 to BT/EE 900mbit, saving £15 p/m in the process. I was quite happy with my VM connection, generally getting around 1 gig all the time, with a ~20ms latency on average.

    With BT/EE, I'm getting 940mb on a 6ms ping.. That's a trade off I'll gladly take.

This fantastic recipe for the chicken pie I discovered accidentally on YT. Making it again this weekend. I am a simple creature, I treasure these small things. Is my health very good? Not really. But do I have lots of money? Also no. How about that pie? Absolute heaven.

Upgraded my 5800H’s storage to a 1tb NVMe, but could never get the sound to work through the 3.5 jack as I’m about to order a USB -> 3.5 jack converter. I remember my Fosi audio tube amp has Bluetooth, bam working sound!

I’ll take any small wins atm

I do enjoy going to the cinema. A tango ice blast with a few sneaky shots of white rum added can’t be beaten.

It’s the noise of everyone else there that annoys me. If I wanted to listen to people talk, slap their chops eating, rustling sweet wrappers, phones going off etc, I might as well stay home.

Some time ago, I became a member of Ripple Energy's Kirk Hill wind farm "co-op".
I've just been asked to add details of my electricity supplier to my account, so they can begin paying my electric bill as soon as the turbines are connected to the grid in a month or three!

Cool, my dad has also signed up to the Ripple co-op (think on their solar farm) - I quite like the idea but didn't see the savings as significant enough to justify the investment
