Very nice. I have a pair of late 90s JL W6 10 in the attic at mum's. They suffered the same as any other 90s woofer (foam rot) but you can get new foam kits for them. Just not gotten around to it yet (he says, after 8 years).

Figured it was time to force_turbo=1 on my trusty old Raspberry Pi, overvolt it, push up the clocks and see where it goes. So far it's good enough to play youtube streams at 1080p without a hitch.

The parents are breaking ground today on their house site.

I'm travelling to Denver tomorrow for 12 days.

The sun is in full blast here.

I have loads of work to do on my presentation for the conference in Denver and haven't packed.

But there is still and ear to ear grin on my face :)

The USB 3 ports I bought to upgrade the USB2 ports on the top of the A10B fit, despite not strictly being for that case. While the front audio panel cable is short by about 20mm, I never use it anyway, so. Pretty chuffed that all worked out without needing to arse about.

New PC build now complete, and it is QUIET! I haven't even activated the "quiet" profile on the H115i and this thing is library quiet! :jawdrop:

In other news, I thought re-activating Windows 10 would be a total pain as I'd misplaced the Win8.1 product key (genuine) I'd used to install it previously.
I woke up at 1 this morning, having dreamed I found it, so I HAD to check before I forgot, and it was EXACTLY where I'd dreamed it was! :D

    MIND.

Seriously, I actually had to stop the guy talking today to express my severe thanks and respect. They are bloody amazing.

June 8th at 2pm I fill out two applications for sheltered housing (self contained flats with a warden). I am so excited. He said "It may take a while" to which I said "I've been at it five years, in for a penny !"

They both have given the green light and sent him the forms, and both have a warden that checks in with you twice a week. Perfect for when I can't cope with things.

It's been a very long time coming and it may be a while longer yet, but finally some one who cares and a light at the end of the tunnel.

Oh and I am not a superstitious person (I do believe there is something linking calendar dates and maths though, like something deep...) but it just so happens that MIND contacted me exactly ten years to the day that I got off the boat back to the UK. So I also had that to celebrate.

Then you're a superstitious person. (Unless you just mean you can work out what day of the week it was X number of years ago using maths, in which case that's just maths.)
