    Wow.

That is awesome! Look after her! I am very jealous, that is a hell of a car. Extremely fast, but quite dangerous to drive I hear... so be careful! :D

I don't know if I am just really jealous or if I truly hate you now, but I hate you now :p

Looks clean with the black wheels and tank lid..
And I like how you parked on a "Compact cars only" spot :p

sadly, this is a $100.000 car here in Norway due to taxes, so I will probably never own one.. :/

Yeah, it still scares me. No ABS and no traction control. Quite a different beast compared to my 350z!

Never thought I'd be able to own one of these. Very thankful that I have a job that can fund it. But the gen 2s (96-02) are between mid 30s and upper 40s USD depending on year/condition. So about the price of a new 3 series BMW.

I found out that I was just really jealous ;)
$30-40K is about half of the a SRT-10 RAM over here, but that one is within range for me (fuel here varies between $2,50 and $3 per liter thou..)

Thanks! I can probably get some startup videos fairly easy, but don't have a way to mount my camera inside or outside yet. The exhaust sounds great (very loud, wife is not too keen on it :p), and has a lot of burbles and cracks when decelerating.

Still have the Z for the moment, but I'll be trading it in for my wife's new car. I'll be sad to see it go. Since the 350z was my daily, I think I might go back to having my 86 Z as my daily.

Haha, I had a friend say the same thing.

One nice thing is gear heads come up and talk to me quite a bit now (not so much in the Z, I think having an American sports car probably helps too). It's always fun to hear someone's history with cars.

I've always had a soft spot for Old Z's and Vipers... I'd come talk to you, too. :D

That said - I am still surprised by how many chats I get because of my GT86.
Just Saturday night, I stopped for some drinks at a service station - around 10PM. This guy in a TTRS pulls off the main road, follows me to the station, gets out, sand says "Dude... I just wanted to say what a nice car you have." gets back in his car, and moves along.

The original Z-cars are some of my favourites.

Having driven the GT86 I'd say it's not really as fun ound the track as I'd hoped, but it's definitely well put together and a really nice car all round.

You do know that you're going to have to qualify that statement...

I was supposed to take mine onto a track this year, but alas, the organisers are (insert various expletives here), and as such, my wife (who gave me this as a birthday present) got her money back (after i threatened legal action)

Honda Civic Type S GT i-VTEC

More than enough car for my small commute and plenty of power for the weekends away.
Beats the P Reg Audi A4 I was driving!

(Sorry about the late response, somehow missed your post.)

I took one round Silverstone on an experience day. Was the trainer car for getting into a Ferrari 430. I didn't really like it because it was slow and a bit slidey. I tend to like stuff that's a bit more twitchy (from one or all of owning a MR, playing video games and getting involed in go-karting most likely).

It's not really a track car IMO, more something to take to the local empty parking lot, if that makes sense. :D
