RPG (Planescape Torment, Oblivion, Ultima), although I enjoy Mass Effect - to me it is not a proper RPG. I also like a blast on some racing sims (GT Legends, GTR2) and of course all my emulated (8-bit & 16-bit) games
I'm definatly more of an RTS player. Sit back and watch the destruction roll (CnC) or take control of worlds (Civ5) Love my FPS aswell mind.
I play all Genres really, Ok, a lot of Cod/WoW, but I play Indie games a lot of the time, and recently, Minecraft has raped my mind.
I play RPG mainley and FPS would be my second most played games, although i do like the odd simulation game now and then.
I'm an RPG fan through and through, have been ever since I picked up FF7 for the PS1 when I was 12! I think it's mostly because I'm far too slow on the mouse to enjoy FPS games hah. However, I recently loaded up my copy of Sim City 4 and lost about 6 hours in one sitting, that's a scarily compulsive game.
<3 FPS nothing better then going on a rampaging kill streak and racking up the K/D ratio Enjoy playin MMO's, mildly addicted to WoW Saying that i just enjoy multiplayer games, i dont think ive played single player on anything for nearly 5+ years (with the exception of FIFA and such) Just dont find anything exciting about knowing whats coming up and how to beat it without any real repercussions
I want fast action, i cannot stand a game i have to spend months learning to play. I dont have time, life is busy. Best game i`v ever played by far : Crysis.
Point 'n' Click... oh, all right then... FPS mainly but also a side order of RPG/RTS and Adventure. Hold the driving*. *alright, I will play the odd racing game - Wipeout/modnation/burnout, but I'm not usually that keen on the genre (probably 'cos I'm a non-driver meself)
Haven't read through the whole thread, so someone might have beat me to it already, but several of the choices need a proper school. Here are a few suggestions: Beat 'em up (school of life) First/Third Person Shooter (boot camp) RPG (arts and crafts) Sandbox (playschool) That's all I got. Feel free to pitch in.
