Something that does not require a pc, car, motorbike etc to achieve. Something simple. For me it has to be reaching the top of a mountain after many hours of hard walking, only to sit down and breath it all in. Wonderful. 100% relaxed. About the only time the inner dialogue in my head actually stops.
Waking up, realising that i don't have work that morning and that the house is completely empty and there are no inturuptions(sp). Basically I like being completly alone.
Good question, and quite a tricky one at that. I would have to say sitting down with a new book (they smell so good) and a glass of wine (usually on friday afternoons relishing in the though that I don't have to get up to work tomorrow).
I have thought of another. Waking up, turning the pillow over and going back to sleep on a sunday on fresh sheets Bliss.
Music sounds like a slightly cheap answer, but music is a massive part of my life, I spend so much time each day browsing through underground channels to find something new and inspirational. Walking down a flagstone pavement and feeling one wobble under my feet. Getting up at 7am in the winter and going for a walk in crisp dry cold air, crunching across thick frost as the sunrise breaks all around you. Going for a walk at 4.30am in the summer when the sun is starting to rise, and nobody else is around. It's like a secret place. I used to do it with some friends and we would go for a walk play frisbee outside at 5am, then go back to bed for a couple of hours and get up for school Driving to Mongolia in a Nissan Micra.
this sounds lame, but, just walking. walking with no real aim or objective, just to walk and observe everything going by.
waking up after i night on the town and see who im lying next to (note have heard horror stories about this, havent been unfortunate myself touch wood)
Walking across the English countryside with my girlfriend (preferably naked on a warm day with nobody around - can't wait to do that in some tranquil English countryside in summer ) Anybody ever realised how beautiful England can be in summer?
I love wandering aimlessly in the rain sometimes (only in spring/summer though), it's quite refreshing. That, and really satisfying sex. Oh, and dom's one of turning the pillow over and going back to sleep.
Intelligent conversation (Though I get most of mine here, so a computer is sort of required) Going back to sleep is nice too Petting the cat That manic feeling of creativity, and sitting there afterwords contemplating what you have done.
Similar one, I like walking with a good friend and just talking. There is a real nice bike/walking path that goes from the town I live in for miles out through other towns, and just walk down that with someone to talk to and maybe a snack or something to drink.
