Money and my lack of it.

As soon as I finish this degree I'm getting into a new job, I looked at some sites I've been buying components from and I've spent around £300 of my own money on components...after a £100 project budget..

That's insane and my project uses... probably £100 of my own money at best? I just have boxes of stuff I've decided isn't good enough. I thought it was a great idea just jumping in because I knew exactly what I was doing but it ended up spiralling out of control.

I'm sure in a few weeks when I'm done it will be great because I'll have loads of micros and components to play around with but until then It just a reminder I suck at keeping money.

Jobcentre stopped my money because of some appointment that i'm not actually eligible for, then took a month to tell me about it.

    Yep, that sounds about right...

Once, when I was on the dole I had an appointment... an appointment which *they* then cancelled... and they then tried to stop my money for not going to it...

    Bwahahahahahahahaha...

You're expecting logic and consistency from the dole... oh you naive thing...

This is the same lot who almost got me sacked because they decided to phone me up while I was at work... to find out how I was finding the job...

May have had a TIA yesterday. Vision is severely buggered on right side. Not that it isn't always, just more so.

    That's the hope :thumb:

If my damn soldering iron would work :wallbash: I don't want to start soldering anything until I know its going to be reliable and not kill all my remaining components.

F***ed up my Skyrim Installation so I have to do an entirely fresh install, including all 200 mods I had for it. Some of them took me ages to bloody find as well and I didn't keep a copies of some of them.

It's exactly how it worked for me. Worked my ass off for 3 years straight, far more hours in university than most other courses, loads of additional work at home and at uni during holidays, I had 3 years of little else.

Now I am in a job where my pay has increased by over £8000 in 6 years to just over £35k with decent, steady and predictable office hours.

And very occasionally, I even get to use some of the stuff I did during my degree work... ;)

Give me a game that's as immersive and gives a great role playing experience as Skyrim and i'll play it.

Real Life is the only alternative I've found. I'm hoping Fallout 4 will be released soon so I can stop playing Real Life, because although the graphics and physics engine are awesome I'm finding it really hard to get the the next level without dying/running out of resources...

While the physics can be extraordinary, damn they can be annoying at the same time.
