    Shoot, I know I would've! :D
Looks great, and perfect timing! I like that all metallic look for the inside. Now, let's see the outside. (that sounded a little pushy...:p)

    Thanks pizan. :)

    Thanks EEL. :thumb::dremel:

Thanks Oreon, I'll check that out. :thumb:

    Thank you. :)
How cool is that? And thanks for the very generous comments on the blog. :thumb::dremel:

Just to let you know what's going on.
It will be a while before I can post something new. All the bits need sanding and
then I need to hunt down someone who can anodise all these parts to a high
standard at a reasonable cost. If I can't find anyone then I have been researching
the anodising process and it's something that I can do, though it will take some
time to get skilled enough to do the job (and I'll only get one shot at it).

It doesn't reflect the amount of work when laid out like this. :sigh:

But the sanding shouldn't take too long. :)

I love this picture and it's comment. Fully represents the modding spirit. Hours and hours of thought, work, rework "and all I have is this?"

Beautiful job. I think many of us have looked at our piles O' parts and had the same thoughts.

my girlfriend ALWAYS has those thoughts when she looks at my pile o' parts.

    wait, that came out wrong...

    erm...

 yay, keep going! I'm pretty much unhappy that you will hide all that quality craftsmanship under an outer layer, but bring it on :)

What I like most about your work,, is the clean lines, If I never seen the photos, I would have thought everything was laser or water cut. Thank you for sharing

Thanks., But it turned out OK. :thumb:

After a tense 5 day wait (I hated to leave this in the hands of strangers, but I guess we
all do that when we go to the hospital, and that's far more important!), I picked up the
chassis parts. They were all wrapped up and I didn't bother to have a look till I got home.
Well, unwrapping each piece was a revelation, my face was hurting from smiling, these
parts looked like they were just bought from a shop somewhere. They look exactly like
    my best imagining.

I have assembled this many times but never with such pleasure.

And how good is this? No finger prints and scratch resistant.

Now it's time to start pulling some of those images out of my head and begin building
    the case/shell/body.

    Dude,
I got no clue how far it is from Denver to OZ but if you really cover this up with an outer case, I'm coming down there and discuss the error of your ways.
This is magnificent. Should not be hidden.

    150 stars from me!
