Indeed, I found a case with one color is missing something.
I really think that adding another color permits to create a contrast on the case.
I find this nice!
And in my mod the white of the fans really slice with black of the structure.

New update with this time, the support of the fins.

I started with a square tubes and then welding the pieces to assemble into a rectangle:


The deport is from 8mm to give way to the axes of rotation of the fins:


Here is a glimpse into the structure:


To facilitate the installation of the fins,
I do the support removable, so I created an axis of rotation to the rear
order to do maintenance without removing the assembly.
The axis of rotation being a screw so that it is removable, so I created the rings in tower machine.


Here is the bar once drilled and put the proper diameter:


Then I threaded the rings 4mm in order to insert the screws.


Hop, a small photo of the two rings:


Then I inserted the two rings on each rear extremity of the support,
and then I soldered the whole thing:


And a shot of grinder for finishing:




Then comes the most delicate part, drilling the holes necessary to the axes of rotation,
the holes should be placed at millimeter if I want the final system works perfectly.






Then comes the cutting of the rotation axis in a solid round bar (diameter 5mm)


After he had only to weld all the axes on the frame.
Taking care that they surpass all the same length.


Here is the result after grinding the welds:




Then I drilled holes for the axis of rotation frame diameter 4mm,
Normally the screw goes completely in the structure but for now,
I have not done the bore to accommodate the screw.


Finally, the stops at the front of the chassis structure:

A small update with the front panel as I call (I do not know if that is his real name???)
Anyway ....
Here's what it will feature:

• 1 Power Button 22mm
• 1 Power Button 22mm
• 1 Reset Button 19mm
• 4 USB 2.0 Ports
• 1 Headphone jack
• 1 microphone jack
• 1 HDD activity LED
• And after, maybe two USB 3.0 ports

Here is a detail of the 2port USB + Audio jacks, for the history, I have not find this on the net
and I do not know where I can buy this part, so I asked to my high school and the computer scientist that has removed me on a PC
So thank you to him in passing ...


So I began by installing the USB ports offered by Aquatuning
because they are centered on the plate so the location was easy to determine.


To the square of course, I drilled two holes 7 to the drill press and then I finish with a lime.
It was not very easy to make perfect rectangles, but I did my best ...
And the result is, I think, not too bad although there is still some tweaking to achieve!




A trial with the USB ports to check if everything goes well:




Then to place the two other ports and Vandalism buttons
I created a cardboard pattern to preview the final result


Once I check everything, so I traced and cut the other two rectangular recess:


Then with a drill of 10mm for LED and two GreenLee of 20.5 and 22.5mm,
I drilled holes for the remaining buttons:

Then as you could see, the headphone jacks had not brackets,
I have done so but for fear of making a short-circuit if I touch the PCB with the brackets,
I created a rubber gasket to isolate:



(The shifted holes are not a mistake because they are also shifted on the PCB)





And here they are mounted on the PCB:




Finally, the result on the box


Also, I think replacing the screws on both USB ports by BTR black screws as the screws on the audios brackets...
What do you think??, Knowing that it will be the same screws that will adorn the cover and the Rheobus.

And one last question, if the turn of the USB ports in iron touch the plate of my case, is that bad??

What do you mean, if the USB metal part of the socket touches the metal case? If so then don't worry its fine as its all 'ground' anyway

And some cables will be sleeved! (USB, Power/Reset Button,...)

As promised, (although a little late ) here the making of fins:
For those who followed from the beginning, I had already spoken, they will be in aluminum 2mm thick and their final width will be 210mm.
Here the plates before cutting:


The first step was the careful tracing of each of the 10 fins, according to SolidWorks plans.
It's imperative that each is very well drawn, so that each of the fins is identical ...


Once the tracing is complete, I marked the location of the two rotation axis:


And then I drilled with the drill press to avoid skidding, the hole is 5.5mm, because the rotation axis are make in a rod 5mm
and there will be 5 tenth of "game" to have no extra effort to the servo-motor.


Then for cutting shapes, I assembled the fins into two groups of 5 attached by two bolts.


The first cut was the front part of the fin:


Then I then finished the back of the fins and their brackets:




In the end there were almost as many waste as fins:


I then bring the wings into a single group to be able to make all finishes exactly.
Where you can seen, the right bracket is not identical in both groups:


For finishes, I first made with a grinder and then with a lime, and here's the result:




The next step is folding the first bracket, not quite 90°, because the form of the fins is a "V":




Then I folded the second bracket, and finally I fold the center of the fins to give the "V".

He just have to polish them and make the connection rack drive...
