I'm usually with you on the smoking thing (never even had one myself I hate them that much). But I dunno, I just really think it looks good with the black gloves, and very film noir. Haha, I do actually have one with the hand on the hip, and a BG would be easily photoshopped... maybe if I get time!
Going to be picky, but the shadow from her hand falls on her neck/hair and throws it off ever so slightly Otherwise very nice!
Fantastic shot. I must say I love your light painting images so much I downloaded them at full res, cropped them and now they are set as a wallpaper slideshow on my main rig .
Thank you. Yeah, I can see what you mean with that. It's not so much the shadow on the neck that bugs me, but the shadow of the fingers on her jawline.
That model is stunning! Editing tons of wedding photos, so once again not much time on any of my own stuff. Found this from an engagement shoot awhile back Took few minutes to edit it and upload. @The boy 4rm oz - Thanks so much! Glad you like them. Subaru in motion by Neo - nimajus, on Flickr
LOL That shot was taken single handheld with my other hand on my car's steering wheel. By the way, nice heli shot. You make me want to shoot some air creatures sooo much! Would love to try to pan the heli and get the rotors more in motion, like I did on my first F1 race. Hmm gotta check if there are any air shows in Long Island.
Damnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn son, dat scooby that's a foocken beauty of a motion shot! Seems like the car has some sort of halo/glow around it - most noticeable on the road around it, more white than the rest of the road? Apart from that, pure awesomeness! More please!!
Awesome shot Neo - Cant believe its handheld! Got some shots from BSB Free practice today.. (will be updating my flickr with more throughout the week and will also be at Thruxton circuit next weekend. I had the camera set to 1/160s but ended up bumping the mode dial to Av, which meant a lot of underexposed, high shutter-speed shots I wish there was a mode dial lock like there is for the rear dial on the 7D Also, driving and shooting!? Shieeeettt. I did a couple of video hanging out the back of a friend's hatchback once, but never done a solo job from a moving car. Wayyyy too scary for me. EDIT: MOAR bad heli shots
Hey guys, took a few photos today. What's the best way to upload them? I've got them all on Flickr, just wondering if there's a better way?
I just link to them on flickr as to many others. Saves having to upload twice, and if your profile is like mine then it needs visitors! Another long day at the track. That poor helicopter - someone attacked it with Post-it notes! Another shot of our new dog. The funny part about this photo is that she is a very clumsy dog. I've never had a dog this large, so I guess I'm just not used to how unwieldy large dogs can be. Still, given our dog's anatomy and her propensity to run into stuff and knock things over, it was quite a sight to see her stop in the middle of the yard, sit down, and proceed to scratch the top of her head. EDIT: If they're on Flickr, then they're already uploaded. If you click the "Share" button above your photo, you'll get a drop-down menu where you can grab the HTML or BBCode link. Copy/paste to your forum of choice.
Its not lomography if its shot on a 3kg Mamiya is it?? Ran a roll of cheap 35mm through my Mamiya RB67 (Medium Format), results a little hit or miss and scanning was difficult I had to scan them on the glass as the frames were either too long to go in the sleeves or too short to go in the 120 film holder, so they look a little oof or unsharp. Early ones, just after loading the film it wasn't so hard to frame but the later ones I couldn't remember where the film was on the view finder. This was just an experiment and I've learned a few things for next time. I am liking the 2nd shot Steve has an oldy worldy feel to it with reel holes and the grain and the texture of it.
