I have that exact label printer - I think I paid about £45 with a sample pack of labels when it was on offer a while back. It's fantastic - the only downside is it doesn't do 4x6 shipping labels - you need the far more expensive XL model for that.

I'm very impressed so far, and it came with three rolls of labels, wiigii!. The software seems a bit meh though.

I'm using the Linux driver and printing from LibreOffice when I need actual labels and LPR for my text-based scheduler, which prints onto non-adhesive cards. Just picked up a small e-paper screen, though, so that might be going paperless if I find the time!

Summer starts coming to a close. I think "Maybe I should buy something for my PC?". Spend all day looking, nope, still not anything worth buying.

Got it second hand on the cheap. Console is in superb condition. Controller is near mint too, but I am kinda weird about using used controllers so I scrubbed it with isoprop before ordering this.

I'm now worrying that when I get it home the extra height may be a problem for where I want to have it (fnarr)

On the left there on the TV stand. Sod, eh? so I got this.

Worst comes to the worst I can vertical mount it and put it behind the TV. Plenty of space there. I also bought FO4 for the PS4 for the grand sum of £4.41. Push the boat out eh?

The idea is to put the Pro console at home, aiming for a solid 1080p/60 and bring the white one over here to mum's. I'll only really need FO4 here.

Been there, done that, had to drive to Halfords and pay over the odds for a socket adaptor

Pro tip, Toolstation do those adaptors pretty cheap, they survived me using them in an impact gun as well.

Ooops - I'd have thought that most stuff would be ¼" or ½" drive... or at least have a ½"-¼" adapter included. 3/8" variants sound like semi-pro./pro. mechanic levels.

This was £5-ish for the four from Amazon - I'll only be using them with the hand torque wrench, so hopefully they'll last a good long while. Well, until I inevitably lose 'em because there's nowhere to put them in the socket set or torque wrench cases...

^ this Anker adapter is awesome btw.

Used it plenty of times at home and in the EU it's been invaluable this year.

Traded in some old tablets through CeX for an unexpected amount today, so bought myself a new toy:

And since my PC doesn't have bluetooth...

Always wanted to try one of these. The USB receiver was more expensive than Amazon, however this was effectively free money - I expected these tablets to the worth pennies, so was pleasantly surprised to get a hair over £50 for the pair...
