And on a trip to a Supermarket today, there were people STILL not wearing masks in the queue to get in, and a sign has had to be placed asking people to NOT remove their masks to smell the air fresheners,
and then i passed a couple of Karens who had decided to remove their masks in the middle of the store to have a chin wag, one of whom was coughing, who BOTH then complained about being told to put their masks back on by shoppers, then staff. eventually they relented when threats of police action were mentioned and they both were told to leave, when i finished up my shop, there they both were, no masks standing about 1ft apart, having a natter

Unless it's his tendering his immediate resignation I don't care.

Unless the Queen intends to publicly execute him on the steps of Number 10, with Exaclibur itself.

From what I hear on the grapevine, Johnson's going to announce an immediate move to Tier 4 across England and closure of the schools... the day after my kids went back to school. Amaze.

Smart money is on national lock-down or at least tier 4 for everyone. Cases and hospitalizations are exploding.

It's probably no school till Feb, like in Scotland. Complete Lockdown V3 (tier 5 was mentioned) as predicted, as he can't be seen to be doing less than the other countries. Just a question of whether he has the nous to do it from tonight, rather than in three days for no real reason.

Schools here are (finally) shut for next two weeks anyway, so it's a small extension (that will still drive the missus potty).

Doctor on the news said he point blank disagrees with it being the new variant to blame, it's people not following the rules to blame - you still have to get infected somehow, which is less likely to happen if you....yep, follow the rules.

Surely people will figure this out soon? But probably not.

Two news articles on the BBC site earlier, one was BoJo saying kids should go to school and the one next to it BoJo saying tougher rules are coming.

Had anybody pointed out to him the difference between his arse and his elbow?

:jawdrop: I seem to recall a couple of mince pie reviews on BT, not sure i can remember a cheesecake one, but not sure if it was before I joined or not as I don't recall the cheesecake Cheesecake(f.t.w.) thing either.

The best thing about that was watching newcomers to Bit freaking out when they tried to post their latest purchase of an EVGA F T W card.

Showing my lack of experience here, but you're definitely going to have to explain that bit...
