I painted the seams and rivets to match the rest



Does anyone have any idea of what colors to use here?

Paint it exactly the same yellow you used to spray the case. More great progress anyway- well done!

 

+1 on the same yellow!

And then maybe a darker shade grey for the "line" and black for the round thingys.

I was thinking maybe black on that long bar and the springs, but everything else yellow...

This is what i would do. there's more than enough yellow on the case already.

Everyone I work with likes that too. Maybe I can knock it out tonight.

 

So, I started painting the treads. First I went all black.



Then I started the silver.



I need more exacting brushes, so I'll have to finish tomorrow

 

I rhink that works quite well although you should have masked the under carrage because that looks like its been painted a bit black, a little preparation would have saved you time here unless you intended on doing it in that case its perfect

 

now quickly, find some spray on mud bulldozers are never that clean.

 

just a suggestion for the black stripes on the top:

at the back of the case behind the rivited grill the stripe is at a different level to the rest at the front of the case, maybe to redo that 1 so it doesn't look too out of place?

 

I painted the front undercarriage black



Then finished the paint on the left side treads. That's all I'm doing on the treads. I think they look best without any yellow.

A really great theme build going here. Love the louvered side vents very fitting. Nice overall feel to the build.
