Thanks. I like your idea but actually almost there is no space for more wiring and connectors. Doing that i'll have some problems to release the cover. One of the future options i've thinked is to replace the full DVD unit for a slim one. That would give me the enought room to improve the loop or add more gadgets. The best option to light up the hull, since in there are some lights fonts, maybe would be optic fibre wires, but i'll have the same problem to release the cover.
Challenge acepted... At the begining i saw it almost impossible this time due the lack of space and the wiring in the mod but then... Well a pic tell it all. A dolphin... that magical, intelligent, tuna fish tasted... stupid animal, keyholder. I found it in a cheap chinese bazar this morning. There are a lot of that cheap shops here. Stripped to get that PCB with 3 leds (red, blue, green) in strobe patern running. I used 3 of that dolphins (one as replacement, the quality of the board is horrible). Adding some lights to the hull. The first are from a Antec case door. light up! Making little video... Just wait a little.... Dekita! Avi video (700Kb Divx) - Here . I'll convert it to divx tomorrow maybe, it's late now. If you miss some colorfull lights, i've replace some of the leds (green ones out). There are 4 red, one yellow and one blue. Tomorrow i`ll resume the paintwork. More soon.
