Haha, thanks for the vote(s) of confidence guys. :thumb::clap:

Had an hour this afternoon so when it came to fitting the nose to the side pieces
I elected to fit it higher still, just to give me more room for shaping.

It looks a bit funny like this but the front still needs to be made and all this will flip
    back to uncover the chassis.

His reputation for building sublime pieces of electronic art and the craftsmanship and endless hours of devoted love and attention to detail will long echo around this forum.

I think we should vote him "Mayor of Bit-tech Town" at the next elections.

Even the great R.J Mitchell would be speechless with its form and function.

    Top banana.

I have to admit, I saw this log when it started and thought nothing of it. Yesterday I glanced at the last page, and went meh... but something didn't feel right, so I went back a few pages and went WOAH. Then I started back at page 1 and sat there for hours on end and read every single post and looked at all the images in detail.
That woodwork alone would make an awesome "hidden" computer in a living room setting. I even liked the Aluminum skeleton as it was, with no extras. Looked like a air plane engine or something like it.
When I saw your pictures of working the wood, with the 4 compartments, I was worried, due to the insane strength in the wood alone, but I was glad to see a few posts later that you hollowed it out like I was hoping you would have done.
I would hate to be your competition in any contest.
So what I mean is... Keep up the awesome work.

Thanks for the comments and kind words. :)

The shaping of the nose and alu side pieces continues but it's getting pretty
    close.

There was a change of plan regarding a cooling detail. A vent was going to be
cut into the side panel to let excess hot air out, but when it came to it I just
couldn't hack that lovely curve. So, the extra hot air can go out the top, all I
have to do here is make a vent in the bottom of the top panel.

This area will be covered so you won't see the vent.
