    Temp monitoring - SA 360

    yeh thanks man! I did check to temps.

    CPU start up/idle - 25c to 33.5c

    GPU start up/idle - 26c to 34c

    ------------------------------------

    CPU in game - 33.5c to 37.5c

    GPU in game - 34c to 38c

    monitored when playing GTA4.

    Those temps are very good considering you are cooling both cores from a single block, the temps are close to my overclocked Q6600 and 8800GTX lol. Fantastic work mate.

    Yeh totally thanks, was well pleased with the temps, was one of my main reasons to build this thing along with the fact that i cant be asst dealing with Micro$oft anymore. :thumb:

    A very cool project.
    I'm seriously thinking about watercooling my XBOX360, since it already been in for service twice. First the DVD-Drive died and next "red-ring-of-death"....:-(

    Do you have a link for the waterblock, you've used.

    EDIT: Found the block......

    yeh the dvd drive failed on mine first. it cracked my forza disc and ring scratched heaps of others, then i got the 3 red lights. been through 3 xbox's.... dont understand why they dont change the enclosure design. same old from everyone I talk to! they always last 6months then after that problems start arising...

    Hey does anyone know the DB noise rating for the 360... in game and idle?
    I need it to compare when I get my 360 db tested

    Yeah all my friends XBoxe's have died, all within a year, main reason I wont buy one, that and I hate shooters on consoles. The red ring of death usually happens due to excessive heat weakening the solder and eventually things become detached, pretty stupid really.

    this is awesome!! clean, elegant, great work! the only thing i find a pity is that those awesome green fans are going to be hidden inside the case :waah:
