Really nice. I'd go for white for extra tech feel on the case..
Sorry to mock your idea Cheapskate, but I think resembling flames with three different, continousely lit LED's would be too abstract and just look a bit chaotic..

Hey I looked into creating a flame effected but he biggest problem would be to create the way the fire flickers.The effected would haveto be produced by at least 2 or 3 ledstrips that would have to be dimmed up and down at random intervals.
Yes you can buy controllers that would leet you program the fire but those are very expensive if any of you know a alternative that is reactively cheap I will look into it.





over the last week I drilled over 100 holes and thread and I still have a few to cut



















hy do you guys have any suggestions on what colour I should have the fins and doors?

look good polished to a mirror finish.

it would but the corner fin got's 2holes in them that would stick out very much.

BARE METAL I think they would look superb when sandblasted for a nice satin finish.. Thumbs up for your work! I really love it.

I also think they would look best being left bare metal with some sort of NON glossy finish, defenately not mirrored.

Depends if you had some sort of theme for this case because every time i see it i see medieval armour.. what you think??

I hope you can understand what a difficult decision this is. It would be real nice if I had he time and money to make this case 3 or 4 times in different colours just to see how awesome they would look.

Originally it was inspired by the my sidewinder mouse and keyboard.But now I think it kind of looks like a futuristic armour.



Ok here's my gene mboard and 5970 just to show you the size difference.

well with that being the inspiration you should definately go with

Black frame and insides
White panel sides to match K/B and mouse
and your top and front fins should be white on the face showing and black on the under side with Red Lighting..

Does that sound better?

I haven't seen white and red very often. It would look great, especially paired with the mouse and keyboard.
Although sandblasted bare metal with white LEDs would also look good.
But it's up to you in the end.
I also have to say I really admire your metalwork and especially your patience to get all panels bent and shaped the same.

This is truly an epic mod in the making, I very much like how you have done the front, very unique design, reminds me a lot of that WoW mouse (http://www.coolest-gadgets.com/wp-content/uploads/wow-mouse.jpg)

My vote goes for white case with polished frontal fins and white LEDs, however the red and blue looked really good as well. Why don't you have all 3 colours rigged up to a switch so you can change them depending on your mood?
