And you're very good at that. If the people at work were half as good at their jobs....

If you are able to mod your Switch then it's possible to run Android and use the Android version of Moonlight (an open-source client for Nvidia Game Stream): https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-stream-your-pc-games-emulators-to-the-switch.545407/. I do not have the cojones risk bricking my Switch however or getting locked out of firmware/software updates!

But if you can pick up a PS Vita for cheap and mod that then there's a version of Moonlight available for that also: https://github.com/xyzz/vita-moonlight

    Not a purchase

    A friend gave me a GTX 1060 Mini ITX 3GB, to replace my old GTX 560 ti, and 2x 8GB DDR3 1866. :)

I had the 1070 version. It was brilliant - fast, quiet and cool.

Total shot in the dark. Seller claims it doesn't boot to Windows, just shows text on a black screen. I have a feeling it's a dead hard disk.

Not a huge gamble at £95 though really.

Edit. Turns out I did quite well.

I5 3330 (could have been much worse, Sandy I3)
    GT 610 (barf, that's going)
6GB RAM (easy to upgrade to 8)
    240w PSU (could have been a 180)

And etc. So yeah, not bad. Will make a cracking media PC :)

Quite the upgrade for me. I was getting about 40 fps with the setting at minimum at Apex Legends. Now I average 90 fps with peaks at 125 fps at medium.
    I haven't been this impressed since I upgraded my MX420 for a ti4800se :D

I'll find something to repay his generosity*Thumbs up

Stopped at Currys on the way home last night for a couple of bits:-

Ring Chime pro - Not just a chime but a wifi extender. Doorbell claimed "poor wifi signal".

Corsair CX750 PSU to hopefully get my fileserver back up

    Ooooh, like them.

Edit: I took the pic out of the reply though as I can see your numberplate if that bothers you.

Very courteous of you; it crossed my mind but I don't think I care? There can't be many scumbags cloning plates on hybrids?
