Congratulations! Does this mean you intend to, or do you have to, or just knowing you *could* gives you the warm and fuzzies?

Do I smell somebody lucky enough to be old enough to get a certain status and was near enough to retirement to not have it taken away?

    Enjoy. :thumb:

Ebay. There is a guy on Youtube called Tarun, and he basically debunks the myths and shows you great gear at good prices. You have two choices on power cable. Lapp Kabel or Bergen? something like that. The other stuff is black and shiny and I didn't like it.

    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LAPP-OLFLEX-CLASSIC-CY-CABLE-2-5MM-SHIELDED-AUDIOPHILE-GRADE-CABLE-FOR-DIY/150777519797?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

That's the cable. For the "kettle plugs" AKA IEC connectors I chose the cheapest, yet good quality. I didn't trust the Chinese ones.

That was purely aesthetics though. I could have paid £4. I just like those, they look mean lol.

Those are the plugs I chose. I mean, plugs are plugs.

    That shows the other one.

Sees an article about bitcoin pop up in feed.
Checks how that bitcoin he's been sitting on for ages and entirely forgotten about is doing.

    ... huh. Neat.

If only I'd spent a fiver on Bitcoins when they were less than 5 pence each...

Trufax. Source: I had three Bitcoins, and sold them all for £600 each thinking I was a financial genius.

I was thinking in terms of having forgotten about them, like @Mister_Tad and then seeing their value today...

    3.5 hours. 3.5 bloody hours.

Still it is done now. 4 x 110cm and one erm, longer one. I realised that the 110 wouldn't be long enough for the PC that will go up top. That said, they were certainly very generous. 5x110 = 550cm. I ordered 6m. I should have 50cm left after having made five 110 cables, but I have more than 110 *and* one of them is longer. I reckon they sent me about a metre more than I bought. Which is nice, because usually they come up with some effin ******** reason to send you less than you paid for.

Missed the one with the left over. Easy enough to do another one if I ever need it tbh.

Mobile phone contract came up for renewal, walked away five minutes later with 40GB instead of 30GB a month data allowance while paying £2.50 a month less. Score.

Hey, that's... £60 over the lifetime of the contract, CPI increases notwithstanding. That's nearly enough to buy an in-house Switch game on the Nintendo Store, that is!

Intend to, towards end of the year. Haven't decided on an exact date yet, but knowing I can makes me feel good already. :)

Yup. We're known in the workplace as "unicorns". :D

South of France is looking good at the moment.
