    Whelp, work is over for the year after an informal pizza Christmas lunch in the office. The car is topped up for the drive to the parents' early tomorrow (because I'm not getting stuck in traffic with every other horrible human being). A bit of housecleaning and if time, maybe a bit more work on the current Lego model.

    Looking forward to getting stuck into some reading and long overdue photo editing. Not to mention walking the parents' doge.

    Asked a company on IG DMs about upcoming sales

    They let on about a Boxing Day sale that would be happening. Sales have already hit pre-Xmas and I’m lapping up the rewards before social media posts cause instant sell out.

    I'm so very grateful to have such an awesome family. While we're stranded in isolation, they've all done their best to make sure we still have a good time; brought supplies, presents and so much food. I am sad that we haven't got to spend any time with them, but we've still had a nice day and I'm absolutely stuffed. Might need another Bailey's espresso to perk me up.

    Partner passed her driving test first time after many many years starting and stopping due to health reasons.

    This means I’m no longer designated driver all the god damn time.

    although, she will now fully assume her role as back seat driver

    Turns out a Noctua NH-C14S fits in a Corsair 250D (just) - should keep my 5600g at max boost while i'm playing fighty games against my daughter and give us a few extra fps - can also overclock it with confidence when i swap out the psu for something beefier than the 300w sfx silverstone strider thats in it currently.
