    Headphone Mod

I'm looking to try and connect an ordinary $2 microphone to a pair of headphones, so it'd be like one of those flight commander headsets with mic. Has anybody done this, and do you think it'd be easy to do?

The headphone are rather nice, so I'm hesitant about just cutting into it...

I'm looking for a guide about touch sensitive buttons. I'm looking for power button and a reset button. I don't think it makes much difference though.

i remember reading the the NEXXO's metaversa project log on page 4 Altron saying how wiring 2 seperate computers is faster then a duel. How would that be done? Could it be done with 2 motherboards in on case from the same PSU? Would both motherboards need the same amount of RAM or RAM on one board be enuff? Same thing for HDDs and VID cards.
Many other questions but hopefully will be answered if a guide is made.

Here's another good one. this is something i've been eyeing for a while for a keypad lock for my system. not sure if it would fit overall though, but figured you guys might want to know about it. its a 4-digit programable keypad lock that activates a relay when entered correctly. only downside, its powered off 9v instead of 5 (could use standby power for it then) Link! :geek:

*EDIT* for clarification, the pad is 9 or 12 button, i forget. the combination is 4-digit programmable.

Ha, Im in the proced of wiring up a 12digit keypad. I'll post pics then I'm done. Until then, anyone else wanna help him out?

The keypad also locks all the circutry in the case. and operates a servo powered front drive bay cover.

500v?! that's double/quadruple what you'll actually use, and it'll be the same as whatever the lights are on. Should be fairly easy to do.

Google? There must be thousands of guides for it out there. Else look on the Bit main site. I think Spike did a guide on stealthing drives in a Coolermaster so its very similar.

What about modding a multi-remote to power on your computer. Add some kind of an IR sensor and program your multi-remote to power on and maybe do even more.
I googled it and couldn't find much. So start modding :dremel: or point me in the right direction.
Seems simple. I'll let the experts figure it out. *nudge nudge Zap*
