well just to get everyone up to speed: i bought a ati radeon 9200se to run the LCD screen. everytime i enabled interlacing, i get this: taking a quick search thru powerstip's forum led me to a feature called "tiling" and advised me to turn it off.
that fixed the interlacing problem, but i still couldnt get csync to work correctly. i had the timings almost perfect, yet the image still scrolled uncontrollably. then i notices the "+" button beside horizontal and vertical. being curious, i clicked the "+" for horizontal.... then EVERYTHING came together. the screen looks beautiful. no scrolling lines. almost made me tears of happiness
Hmm.. that is EXACTLY how my screen looks when I have it set to anything higher then 256 color. I will have to give that a shot. SAD
bee, i need to ask you a quick question: for the voltage regulator, is the LM317"T" the same as the LM317?
good good good. since im not big into electronics, that diagram you have is slightly confusing. any way you take take a picture of how you have everything soldered? also, just incase that 1k resistor, could i put one of those variable resistors on that line?
variable resistor would work fine if you need one at all as for the picture, that wouldnt be possible because it wouldnt make as much sence as the one upthere, all you'd see is the same thing.
Great job BR!! I'm really impressed w/ the installation of the LCD screen. Mine is still sitting outside the box. ALso, my PSOne now works w/ 16bit and 32 bit color. I turned tiling off, and now it looks great!! Who woudl have guesed, double click on teh "New Resolution" bar would have that option. Great fine my man!! SAD
