ebay and a really good price for the 2
more money than sense?
-6600 Go 300Mhz/600Mhz
-1GB DDR2 RAM
The reason it did not work the first time around was because my laptop overheated.
I'm very pleased to see that my Barton @ 2.5Ghz can outdo a low end A64. Guess theres life in the old dog yet.
2882 3Dmarks (1195 SM2 / 1141 SM3 / 947 CPU)
2x6600GTs @ 550/1200, 3500+ @ approx 2.4GHz, 1GB PC3200 RAM
I managed to get the CPU to 2.5GHz, which resulted in a higher CPU score but a lower overall score.
What a load of crud, CPU tests took ages at 0.180 FPS! Waste of bandwidth tbh. Nice looking visual slideshow tho.
overall - 2946
pent M 2.78

And that's with a single GPU. Must like dual cores.
Now I'm considering giving mine a bit more wellie just for the sake of pissing you off by getting 1 point more
must... resist... futuremark... evil...
Just bought the Pro benchmarkers bundle which includes:
3D Mark 06
3D Mark 05
3D Mark 03
PC Mark 05
I was supprised with my score.
Do I win?
You're using "tweaked" drivers, so the score will be quite a bit higher than official drivers, give them a go and see what you get.
Wow, how on earth did you get that score? I got twice that, and my CPU is only running 100Mhz faster, I have the same ammount of ram, and a mere 9600Pro.
The CPU isnt running at 2400 anymore, it cant do it. Its stock at 2075. The Windows install is corrupt and I really cant be bothered to re-install it, and everything has been pushed far beyond the limit for a year so its all falling over when anything is asked of it.
Ah, heh, sorry if that seemed to be rubbing your face in anything, it wasn't meant to be, I was just very surprised
Heh, its no problem. I've gone past the point of being pissed off at my system and now its a novelty until I get my new stuff.
i got 413 3d marks (sm2- 193 cpu- 859)
spec in sig.
i finally got around to the download finishing and running it.
not sure if this is good or not though.
just as i sold a 7800 GTX cus i didnt use SLI that much now this comesout! will test it now and see what i can get!
