Do transmeta processors use the same sockets ?

    And are they expensive ?

I have only seen them used in the little sony Vaios

Ok im countin 2 for AMD and 3 for Intel...

I would really like to drive my system to the edge and reach insane speeds which will be capapble of if cooling the CPU to -40 degrees. So with that said is AMD able to acheive better performance and speeds or Intel?

ATM, if I'm overclocking, its Intel. At stock, AMD.

AMD dudes, but I cant compare as I have never run an Intel - that 3GHz HT P4 looks pretty sweet though.
