You might have a few days/weeks of struggle but it’s worth it, just to get rid of that claggy catarrh throat feeling and be able to breathe deeply and fully.

    Best of luck to you!

Hopefully not, I've reduced my nicotine intake to 1mg/ml for the past year, and for the past 3 months only had nicotine in my first morning tankful, so nicotine withdrawal shouldn't factor in.

But it's the habit that'll be a struggle to break if anything

Yeah it’s something I’ve been thinking about lately, I think I’ll start out by dropping the nicotine strength.

I’ve been doing “100ml shortfill with 2x10ml nic shots” for a while now, so I’ll drop down to 1x10ml nic shot starting with the next bottle.

2x10ml at 18mg into 100ml makes for 120ml at 3mg overall, so it’ll drop down to roughly 1.5-1.6mg.

I had to use an online calculator to work that out… I used to be able to calculate this stuff in my head, back in the day!

2 weeks later and the feeling of wanting to rip the face off anyone and everyone hasn't passed yet.
I'm do now have a rather spiffing collection of cheap fidget toys, chew Bic's like they're going out of fashion, and have taken up expensive sugar free sweets

Stupid people are stupid, drink too much water and it'll kill you

And as for the esteemed doctor quoted in the article

So doc what have you got, vaping isn't new, electronic cigarettes have been in the UK for 20 years, with the advances in science something should be showing as a problem by now

I suppose over time all that vape juice would start to build up in your lungs.

Ohhh, not this again, how many times do we have to see this clickbait scaremongering horseshit…

If they’re that bad then let’s be done with it and ban them. And then we can all watch as the majority of people that were using them, including children, go back to smoking cigarettes. Because that’s what’ll happen.

    ………….. WOW

Gonna need a minute to recover…

    I think… I think you’ve just… solved smoking…!

Why didn’t anyone think of that before?! It’s so obvious! You need to get hold of all the world’s medical bodies and let them know, this could save billions of lives!

Yeah all the life shortening crap and none of the fun

And add to the list perfumes, deodorants, BO, soaps, air fresheners, cooking odours, drink odours, essentials oils, vehicle exhausts
etc etc etc etc ad infinitum

And let us not ignore the pachyderm in the room that represents addiction what with that being the very reason electronic cigarettes are so popular, as a route to a safer healthier alternative to smoking

Oh yeah, I forgot about all that…

What is this world coming to, eh?! When a man can’t even breathe without risking death! Someone ought to do something about it, someone should ban this sick filth and supply us all with respirators pumping pure pristine air!

It's worse than that: 100% of all people who breathe will die.

Don’t know about the rest of you, but I plan to get jacked into the matrix and have my brain downloaded so I can live on as an AI. That’s my fantasy and I’m sticking to it - I don’t need any more existential crises about death than I’m already having:worried:

I've now joined the vape brigade, even after swearing for many a year that I'd rather just smoke. But that was partly because my experience of e-cigs is from 10 years ago and they were shite back then.

Had picked up smoking again towards the end of last year, gave up again because the reality is I don't want to end up like my grandad, barely about to walk to the bathroom without almost collapsing. But, I am far far happier when I'm smoking, and the want was strong last weekend and as a compromise got a disposable vape. And I rather enjoyed it. Happiness and calmness resumed, a £9 disposable lasted about a week and a half, so cost isn't really an issue.

Bought a vapresso xros 3 mini and a bottle of blackjack and a cherry from vampire vapes, which arrived today. The 0.6ohm tank and freebase liquids I got didn't quite hit the mark like the disposable did, bit dryer and not as much flavour, so got some 1ohm tanks and some nic salt fluids coming to try. See if I can a balance I like.

1ohm with 50/50 nic salt liquid produced even less flavour. Going back to the 0.6ohm and combining the cherry and blackjack 40/60 was better. Still not as much flavour as the disposables, but decent. Don't get too much smoke off it either.gonna try some different brands of fluid, see if I can find something with more pep. Recommendations welcome.
