If only I lived in the UK...
That would be an absolutely fantastic job. One which I would love if it weren't for the fact lots of international travel could well put quite a strain on my existing relationship.
I wish everyone that applies the best of luck
What's the deadline for submission of CVs and covering letters?
I'm on a tight deadline at work each week and it would be good to know how much time I've got to put it all together.
Tomorrow...remember that line about "tight" deadlines? Show us what you're made of...speed CV!!!!
There's no deadline, as such - the deadline runs out when we find the right person.
I thought you'd already had a recruitment drive?
righty ho, so im guessing a 15 year old boy at boarding school isn't wanted...
also, im not sure where in Ascot you guy's are, but i used to go to school @ Papplewick off on the far side of the race-corse....
International isn't that much, mostly national, and even then most of the time is spent in the office. Ascot isn't that far from Pompy either.
Absolutely, there's a selection of events every year that require time abroad, but for the most part, you'll be working out of Ascot. IIRC, Portsmouth is about 50-60 miles from Ascot.
Well, crap. Let us know when you guys need someone here in the states, and I'm all about signing up.
yeah tim, when u bit-techers need help stateside, shoot me an email. ill write about how everytime someone asks advice in the forums, i always give some, then highlander comes in and makes me look like a puter noob...
I know this might differ from the topic a little, but I don't suppose you would be open to placement work for 2008/2009?
I have a placement year in my third year on my Computer and Network Engineering Course and I am planning some good options now.
I could move to berkshire and international travel is not a problem.
i can come work in the summer months if y'all need a 15 year old...
You are quite right Tim, a quick google map estimates 60 miles (at least an hour + Hindhead/Liphook is a royal pain in the rear). Just like the game reviewer position that was going, it's most likely something that I can only dream of. After being out of the hardware circuit on a personal purchase level for nearly a year or so, I would be a tad on the side of rusty
Hire ComputerKing, I hear he has style.
heh, good plan, or for the US, the guy bindi banned, Drag, hum, now i would be extremly interested in this placement, its proably about 70miles away for me, im 18 and full of energy, just out of curiosity is whats the pay like?
Email in a CV and covering letter and it can be discussed
If your offering a work Visa I will come
Seriously though I would love to meet you guys and work for Bit.
