That means you can't have read the book :jawdrop: I recommend you do so :thumb: It's awesome!

That's some pretty damn reactive tubing there! Nice and bright :hip:

Hoopy, lol. I'd reccomend the book highly. the 70's tv show was good, the recent film was ok(ish) but the books are very much worth reading.

There is some lighting I'm playing with, once I figure out how to post a you-tube vid here, you'll see ....

£50 is that all, pffft. There's more happening with the lights

yeah it was a pleasant suprise, that was with empty tubes too!! the cooliant is very reactive too, almost like a lamp ...

Cheers Peteski, I'm still waiting for a few bits but it's soooo close.

Hoping to put a vid on here soon, so hold on a mo :D

I pm'd you need some help with posting a you-tube vid...

No thanks, I struggle with my own thoughts let alone other loons, I've fitted a UV led inside the top chambers of those rads, looking forward to seeing the effect myself.:cooldude:

At At last, (sorry couldn't resist Asphiax)
I've sorted the You-Tube link thank you Asphiax. So here's one of the experiments that I'm toying with. The Idea is to run an LED seqencer and have them chasing up and down the front two stacks. A bit like the Cylon thing.

I had stated that it wasn't going to be a light fest, so I'm going to put this up for a poll, a simple yes or no will do,
    Tarts handbag = no
    hey that's Hoopy = yes

Got my vote for MOTM :D was a tough one I have to say...

EDIT: hey that's Hoopy :thumb: (maybe have a couple stationary blue/purple/UV (can't tell - stupid color blindness) and create a sort of pattern)

Thanks Crappy, It was a nice suprise to see that this morning (it is still morning init)

Thanks Sarakon, I'm going to need all the votes I can get. Have you seen the people it's up against ??? playing with the big boys ....

The sequencer is the other halfs hand running up and down the case with an LED. but the sequencer I have in mind has 32 different programs,so there's plenty of options.

i'vw been unimpressed with some on the nominations for far this year, then you get dropped in with that lot. i think yours really stands out though, and that's not even with my biased hat on. lol

Anyway you bend it, I agree it really is an honor! I have a sneaking suspision that your amazing work with the plexi is going to take it at the finish line! Unfortunately I can't find a single damn thing that I don't like about your build! :thumb:

Light test is looking really, really good, nice to see you are using the form to maximum effect.

The babel fish video made me lol a lot.

Congrats for making MOTM, it's a very tough pick requiring some thought to select. :)

Thanks Angel, It's going to be a nail biter for sure. Good luck man :)

Thanks Wayne, it's a hell of crowd to be drawn against, it'll need some D33P THOUGHT to pick a winner :D, but yeah it's good to get a nomination.

The lighting is going to be tricky, but worth it me thinks:thumb:
