Still haven't worked out how to use spellcheck and grammar correction though.

Well that was interesting listening to two women in the video about leaving. They struggled pretty badly and my ears bled from listening to their spoonfed shite, but they certainly perked up when asked about emotion on the day of leaving. That they can answer no problem.

    EDIT: the bloke as well.

It's as sensible as life seems right now.

In other news I told my mum my partner got her leave to remain and she laughed "oh she's not getting kicked out then" as if that would be absurd.

    No. Frickin. Clue.

That's the thing that annoys me most --a total trivialising of the predicament that EU immigrants were dropped in. Now it's all: "Let's all respect that we have differences of opinion and pull together yada yada." It wasn't a 'difference of opinion' for us; it was about our very lives and families. It still is. So Leavers can all go **** themselves with their hard Brexit.

Also the fob-off to UK citizens in the EU of 'don't worry your pretty little heads, everything will be fine'...

...they might be fine, but only because EU countries don't seem to treat immigrants anywhere near as badly as the UK does.

Let us not forget - how the govt treats immigrants is how they'd treat you if they thought they could get away with it.

Seems indeed to be the sentiment.

And immigrants, at least, have a home that they can go back to.

It might be the way I think, but I think Spain is keeping it's powder dry for a give us Gilbraltar or we will deport them all moment.

Possibly, the wider sentiment of 'the EU MS we're in give more of a **** about us than the UK does' is not confined to Spain

True, but Spain has the largest number of UK expats in Europe and a very specific axe to grind.

Lying, self-important, dumbasses shift blame for their own dumbassery instead of admitting their dumbassery is not, in fact, as smart as they claim.

    Politics in a nutshell.

The gammons will soo learn that 'sovereignty' and 'power' are not the same thing...

...and in the pursuit of the former, they surrendered the latter.
