Game's awful now EVERYONE is using the IR Scope. Gave up hope when I saw people using it on a shotgun, whole spotting mechanic and cover systems ****ed. Back to TF2/CSS for me.

Shame, good game apart from that one thing l

 

I think I've used the IRNV scope once on Metro on Rush, but that's it actually. Don't need it, aim is decent enough anyway that I don't need to make my targets glow bright orange for me to see them.
Additionally, I use the Spec Ops camo, so that helps to mask my heat signature

IRNV is getting really annoying now. almost all my death are due to it. i am always the one not using overpowered weapon, never used CG, An94, M60 in BFBC2, and never going to use IRNV in BF3.

 

Wuv to use the camo, but not there yet and I can't muster the urge to go get it
Now I feel like I r hypocrite if I use it, so I'm always at a disadvantage not using it D:

I'd love to use to the Spec Ops camo but haven't unlocked it. It's a bit silly that the last camo unlock is needed to counter a relatively easy to unlock scope, I've unlocked it on two guns now and am still quite away from unlocking the camo.

I don't use the IRNV scope on those guns, either. I like the zoom on the ACOG and as much as I hate to admit it it makes me feel cool not using the flavor of the month items. Using something that I see 1/3 people using doesn't feel right.

 

make tons of difference in maps with lotsa foliage, like Caspian... or spotting the camping sniper across the map in Damavand. and if everyone's and their grandma's using it, i like to maintain my chance of survival...

cover system is screwed with INVR, but spotting is still required.

what level is the specop camo btw?

 

Rank 42 I believe and it's effectiveness at preventing you glowing differs depending on your class and side. Think it's best on american engineers but even then it still doesn't stop you glowing entirely.

 

So here was my thinking today: So I've suicide C4 buggies... why not try suicide tanks? They can take more damage so should be able to get closer without being blown up... right?

One RPG = all six C4 blow straight up in my face.

Ok, had my first BF3 game with a hacker, it has really FKN peed me off, im raging so bad

PB ban obviously done sweet FA, im guessing it is not up to date with his hack, then the admin finally banned him after his score reached over 144 kills only 4 deaths, this was racked up in less than ten minutes and turned the game on its head, not only that but the weapon unlocks i recieved along with my engineer star never saved after the game.

That AJ_Harry_AJ some how hit level 19 in 54mins of gameplay! Reported his page simply because hacker piss me the f off!

 

Got accused of using an Aimbot earlier, having seen the trail of a missile hit our tank leading back to a bush, unloaded into said bush and somehow managed a headshot!

Noted re AJ, proactive ban from ours.

There are, Bit Tech just did one, search the site.

Use FXAA (Post processed Anti Aliasing) instead of MSAA is my best piece of advice
