I've been using this for ages as well and it's a great bit of software. The developer is super swift fixing any issues as well.
Another little treat for you SFF fans, a bit of an update for my S4 Tiny in anticipation of AMD announcing some desktop APUs with RDNA2/3. I've been using the case as it came from NFC with an A10N-8800E I picked up on the forums a while ago so thought it would be nice to freshen it up a bit. I also wanted to go brickless, meaning I'd need to relocate the power switch to the back, and didn't want a gaping hole in the front panel so figured new front and back bezels would be the way to go. Most of the S4T accessories are out of stock on the NFC website, but I dropped a line to Josh and he was happy to make me some parts to order, so I picked up some front and rear bezels in smokey black and in iridescent, as well as a new power switch and a GX16 power cable. Pulling everything together, I decided the iridescent bezels were absolute cheesecake so am keeping the smokey black as back ups for later. And I really love the way it the bezels change depending on the light you catch them in. And, major thanks to Josh for making these up for me!
Arboreal That IS nice! The tiny really is a beautiful piece of engineering. Is that keeb your Keychron Q2? In full Noctua mode by the look of it. I'm trying to rationalise my kit and have got lost in details of what to do with which rig...
Yep, that’s the Keychron in Noctua mode - almost entirely silent It mainly sits on a display stand to be honest, but felt like firing it up today. I know what you mean, that’s one reason I’m offloading so much stuff at the moment, too many parts collected over the years and I decided I needed to focus a bit. I’ll probably swap the Meshlicious for a DanC4 when they become available, but think that and the S4T is probably it for me. Having said that, who knows!
Excellent news @BeauchN! If it's from Overclockers, Dan days that stock will come through from Caseking in about 10 days I've been watching it's endless gestation since 2017 through the now abandoned v1 to release. Little known fact to those other than SFFN devotees, I won the 'competition' that Dan set for the promotional slogan on the box... "Pushing the Envelope" I'm still waiting for my prize, maybe there isn't one. A C4 discount voucher would be nice. I'm still interested, but will wait for feedback and how the builds go. Just sold my NCase M1, so have managed to let go at last. The Sliger S610 will have to go too, I won't need it and the C4.
I watched that and Hardware Canucks videos as soon as I could. I do want one, but can hold off for a while as I have a rebuild coming up. It'd make sense to combine the 2.
Yep, pre-order from OCUK. I’ve also been watching the C4 develop for a while and was wondering about whether to wait for a V2. But, I figure there is always something to wait for. The plan is the C4 will become my main gaming rig with a custom loop, but I’m not going to rush that and will probably wait for the next GPU gen and spend the time before that planning and sorting bits for the loop. That will also give me a chance to see if there is anything I’m not keen on with the case before I build in it. That said, the Meshlicious might go on the forums soon and I’ll revert to one of the other cases. I might even go back to air cooling for a while!
I mean I really should get a Dan case. But that'd mean building a SFF and spending money. Maybe once the house sale has gone through...
My Ncase is fine, I don't need one of these... My Ncase is fine, I don't need one of these... If I keep repeating this to myself then maybe I will actually believe it
I was eyeing up a reference 7900XT for it (Ncase), which has actually reasonable power/heat and space requirements. Even at £750 it's a bit over the odds in terms of pricing though - but I'm not sure that this situation is actually going to improve at all over the next few years!
