Unfortunately I have no experience with film cameras and have no idea how to work with it (as I said, I bought it for the lens), so I haven't tested it yet. The light sensor is working perfectly though. I was quite surprised when I first saw the little dot move when moving the camera around. Almost magic. :)

So do I :D. The trackball as never been used and comes inside its box, but the model itself is dicontinued. CH Products sells it under the DT225 name, but it's the same product.

For modding purposes, be advised that's the same size as a regulation pool ball. :dremel:

I'll spray paint the enclosure and buttons depending on the ball color :).

It seems perfect for what I'm after, a bridge between the 60D and the (still pitiful) camera on my 5S! :hehe:

That sounds interesting! What sort of timber are you using?

I recently got myself a Panasonic GM1 which is a tiny micro four thirds camera. It's so far exceeded all my expectations in terms of image quality. It's been great as a secondary camera and I'm actually trying to get into the habit of having it always on me.

If you fancy something small and compact, have a good look at the Micro Four Thirds format cameras.

Also, as they are mirrorless, adapting many different types of lenses to them is dead easy. I have a m39 and m42 mount adapters and plan on getting canon ef and fd adapters to use on the GM1. Then i'll probably get a larger body like an OMD EM10 down the line.

Using older lenses keeps the price of a new format down and some of the older lenses add a really organic feel to some of the images.

Got the top and shorts for my Xmas present from my parent. Part of me wants to be grown up and stop getting big Xmas presents and part of me loves my presents.

I figured it's an awesome print I just wish they would ship them from the uk properly. I'm having to have it sent to friends in the USA and carrier over when they come over in November.

I am more of a league fan myself, but I will be watching these games on TV as I think the price of the final is rediculous.

Haven't watched a live match in abut 10 years, + its the world cup, so really looking forward to seeing it even if SA doesn't make it to the finals.

Guess this means I also have to give up on going to the Dota 2 International for a few more years aswell.
