Please tell me you wont have it on all the time though.... (Edit: I should probably specify that I am talking about the car bra)

I hate car bras, there is a yellow beetle near me with a huge black one on that goes round the lights like a gimp mask, that never gets taken off. I don't see the point in covering up the car to stop chips when you are never going to take it off to see the nice un-chipped bonnet.

As for my recent purchases, I bought one of those mugs/cups that you put in the freezer to freeze the liquid in between the 2 outer layers to keep your drink cool. The only down side is that I have a new enemy...condensation

I take the bra off my Hyundai most of the time when I'm just running around the neighborhood, but Colorado has some nasty construction sites as well as a normal tendency to be WINDY!

My latest purchase was last night. The family got together at a local all you can eat buffet. it was enjoyable and i ate a lot.
$50 USD for 4 of us. The friends insisted on coming but paid their own.

two words, resale value. But i do agree they can be ghastly things.
and your answer to that, the third layer hmmmmmm.

Also, I just bought tire crayon to make the riding lawn mower look extra racy. Kind of pointless but so are stupid exhaust tips.

640x480 I think - it's a computer fair special, and only has composite in. Only label says "Microvision".
They were being sold as car screens for rear-seat DVD players / reversing cameras / etc.

The good news is that they proved it worked before I paid (First one I picked up was too green in the picture).

No, not going to have it on all the time. (The car bra!) As John said, Colorado has some very rocky construction sites. Also, taking a trip in the mountains in about 10 days. They're called the Rocky Mountains for a reason!

I'm getting the full one, not the sport model.

The gathering is called Minis in the Mountains and it is the third annual event organized by Mini5280.org, a local enthusiasts group. People come with their Minis (new and old) from all over the US. Should be fun and I promise to take lots of photos to post.

to be honest i'd greatly prefer damaged paintwork to the car looking like it escaped from a gimpmask factory ;)
