Yeah it's as high as I would go too. Like I say, it kinda ruined my hobby as I had quite a collection at one point. With those and the Grado I am covered for all scenarios, and neither even need amps.

Not really one for gaming, but considering the dire situation at the moment I’ll need something to tide me over.

You simply must get The Last Of Us Remastered. Best zombie game I've ever played.

Not played the remastered one, just the original.

    Outstanding story telling.

I was crying within about 5 minutes. A real eye opener, I've never seen a game open so utterly cruelly. It's definitely an emotional thrill ride, and man it looks amazing on the PS Pro. I started it on the PS slim and yeah, the bump in res makes it total eye candy (with the odd dodgy texture but then I am a PC schlag). It's in my top 5 ever, that's for sure.

Yeah the opening is spectacularly brutal, things can only get better from here right, right?

It definitely lets you know very quickly indeed that this isn't going to be fun and games. More so than any game I have ever played. It was like when I first watched The Walking Dead and saw an abortion performed. My jaw just hit the deck.

Yeah, not for the faint hearted.

    A pre-order of...

    upload_2020-3-18_9-48-19.png

A reMarkable 2 E-Ink tablet-ish thing. Yes, it's expensive. No, it still doesn't have a Linux app - though it does have an "experimental" web interface that lets you upload and download files through a browser, so fingers crossed that works.

I'm in batch two, so it should arrive some time in July. Hoping it makes note-taking during reviews a bit easier - not to mention annotating PDFs for research.

Will do. I'll cover it in Custom PC, too, if only to defray some of the cost!

The kitty's supply of cat litter arrived so if we do run out of loo roll we'll all be in the litter tray.

I've also got a brick layer's trowel. Ideal for leaving a neat finish...
