Every windows trackpad I've ever used feels like crap next to a MacBook trackpad.

Pretty much my use, I'd probably not use for anything else.

As for the trackpad once I knocked up the sensitivity it's like most trackpads - move your finger and the pointy point moves.

I view it as a way to get around the screen and search more easily than an on-screen keyboard rather than a 'keyboard' as such - for twenty quid I'll take it.

Edit: As for Mac comparisons I say again, this is a twenty quid screen hopper not the keyboard/touchpad of a Mac....

How many people you cooking for with that second one? Must be one of those world record curry efforts.

It is ridiculously huge, bigger than I imagined, but we both have a large family and could be cooking for a dozen people on a quiet gathering.

It should just about do it for a while :) if I upgrade the case at a later date then I'll be able to squeeze more in the case I need to find 2 Quadra GPUs at a reasonable price next :).

Quadro... reasonable? I went with a 3070 cause there's no reasonable Quadros.

    2x2696v2 12C/24T (24C/48T)
    256GB PC3-14900 ECC RDIMMs
    RTX 3070

My storage sucks though. 256GB main drive and 2TB HDD. Need more SSD for games/Unreal. Little bit at a time.

2 x E5-2673 v4 (2 x 20C/40T). I can't quite believe how much these were new. Bagged the pair for just over £230. I was eyeing up the E5-2699 v4's but the relative price hike for two more cores was a bit much, it'd be getting on for about double the price of these.

It's like we're all realizing HEDT stuff is better longer and in your and my cases it's cheaper. What's your use case?

They'll be installed in a server which I'm tinkering about with. I'm not sure what it'll end up running as yet, but it needed a bit of oomph. A rabbit hole later and these should do nicely. I'm on the lookout for some more DDR4 ECC next I think.

Managed to snag a couple of Scythe Gentle Typhoons off eBay. Been after more of these for a while and these were only £10 each:

What are you doing with that machine? That's a lot of power there.

How do you make that sound so sad? And at this time of year as well. Is this the herald of the singularity?
Make a clockwise circle with its right hand whilst simultaneously making an anti-clockwise circle with its right foot?

Go on...try, you single-threaded fool, you...
