I broke the cable and the left mousebutton of the last one after three years, so we will see how it goes.
And in case something does go wrong, the shop I bought it at has a very generous exchange policy and I am pretty well-protected by European law. And if all else fails, Hamburg, Germany is just a day of driving away. :D

But i agree, the shape is great, I couldn't find much else that felt as nice. The placement of the buttons is ideal for my large hands.

To be honest with you I didn’t think that the aesthetics on a motherboard could get any better, It overclocks well to :D

Well not technically a purchase, but using EVGA step-up to get the GTX 670. Cost to me will be £10 plus another £10 or so to post my 580 back. :D

Yeah, but your data wasn't. Neither was mine when my Vertex (V1) crashed and I lost almost a month of work -.- I was so mad at the time, and it took me a while to go back to SSD after that. My Vertex 2's have been reliable so far though, touch wood.

Is that HU really black-and-white? If so, I think I need to buy it.

On the other hand, I quite dislike non-stock HUs cluttering up the dash. Oh well...

As far as aftermarket headunits go, that one is quite understated and stylish looking. You could do much worse than a Pioneer :)

You are right, almost all aftermarket HU's seem to be made for the tacky chav market. It's rare to see a stylish one!

Sorry, just realised how arsey this sounds!

This is an edit, my first question was about where you got the 12 shirts for £140, didn't mean it in the way that reply makes it sound!

The wheel doesn't physically break like it did on the first gen Kone. It just scrolls wrong

    :eyebrow:

You didn't backup anything ? That's unlike you

All I lost was windows itself (I never bother creating backup images of the OS) and League of Legends that was, for some reason, not in my backup folder

EDIT: scratch that, LoL was backed up but I checked the wrong folder and still reinstalled it :wallbash:
EDIT 2 : Didn't reinstall, just copied the folder from my laptop :D

Oh believe me, I did... but this was prior to me building "S59" (my large file server) and I wasn't doing weekly backups of that machine at the time, only monthly ones in an attempt to keep some space free on my smaller file server. I lost a lot of stuff because of that SSD failure :/

Not only a lot of work, but a very special Source TV demo of me getting a once in a lifetime grenade deflection in a Counter Strike Source official match - I threw a grenade at the same person who had just thrown a grenade at me, the grenades collided in mid air, deflecting off each other and neither of us died. That will almost certainly never happen again... Especially since I don't play CSS matches any more! :)waah:)

Still, I was more upset about all the CAD drawings, invoices, quotes and university assignments that I lost :(

Yup - guy was moving overseas and couldn't take the monitors with him. Got a real bargain there as the power supply for the monitors are seperate units and as they are the most likely thing to fail I can just replace them without having to replace the entire monitor.
