Slightly mean I don't touch type either. I don't exactly need to look all the time, and while I type very fast, it's a sort of home grown, touch type/look type hybrid style. I couldn't have a keyboard with no markings.... I'm hardly a n00b.

 

Still more than I'm prepared to spend really, when you consider for a tenner a month I get unlimited data, unlimited texts and 250 mins yes I know it's GiffGaff but even still, by far and away the best deal I can find.

 

You don't get the new phone though!

 

Just bought an ipad2 off of amazon that I paid a total of about $100 for (had some amazon gift cards that I got from my banks cc reward program). I love having it. So much easier than carrying my big ass laptop around for browsing the web.

 

I'm much the same way. I can touch type, but look down to align my hands rather than using the marks on F and J and couldn't tell you off the top of my head where } or End is. My first mechanical board had black keys with engraved legends, aka almost impossible to read and was a problem for me. Now I have keycaps with nice easy to read white infilled legends.

 

With my current keyboard being perfectly fine. I decided having wanted one for ages and ages.

Nice & easy to build, very sturdy and good finish ( chipboard with Wenge finish Melamine veneer )- matches my speakers; anythings better than the 10+ year old 3 door wardrobe that was falling to bits and far less sturdy. Just got to get a new TV unit & sideunit and that's all my bedroom furniture replaced with decent stuff, looks so much nicer now...

Well it is very basic and doesn't really have much of a design. It is very compact but still a full sized keyboard.

In my opinion mechanical keyboards look like they came from the 90's, they remind me of massive CRT monitors. I guess that is why you get different colour key caps.
