Due to lack of money till the and if next week I am happily avoiding the steam sale. I have various titles i haven't played.

Whilst some appeal I can wait as they cycle through varying discounts.

ZiiP offers this feature on many titles as well. You can order the hard copy of the game and get the CD-key emailed to you in advance of the postal deliver. Drop the CD-key into the "activate a product" within Steam, Origin, UPlay etc and it redeems for the respective program.

Some companies which are not tied in to specific online distribution programs can sometimes have the niggle that the CD-keys are different to the codes used to activate on whatever platform, but they are few and far between.

 

NaloaC, you missed my point - i was only saying that Dishonored is not listed in the codes you could activate on Steam. I do know about the activate feature, hell i even used it for Skyrim (impossible to buy it on Steam in my country, but i can activate it using a serial key from the retail box i bought in the store) and few games bundled to graphics cards before.

Yes Dishonoured activates on Steam, I tend to just go on the assumption that everything does these days!

holy **** this game is surprisingly fun

 

I would have grabbed HAWX, but I can't play it.

Got my brother Dead Island and a freind of mine Zeno clash.
I bought Quantum COnundrum and Blocks that matter, since it was on my wishlist and I need to trim it down by buying them all.

 

Now I nearly paid over the odds for that a year or two ago, really liked the look of it...
So, do I want HAWX 1 or 2, or both?

Damn this sale by the way, I put my wallet downstairs so it was more of an effort to spend...
