Macroman, are you still going to complete this article, as I would like to see the fanbus controller and how it was done.

that update reminded me how subliminal an impact macroblack has been... I based my buttons for the cinemediapc on your fanbus knobs and didn't even know it at the time..

A great round-up of a great project! A fitting conclusion.

I loved the bespoke electronics... I know that's Mr Macroman's *thang* from other projects, but it somehow was *necessary* for this one.

As to influences it has caused, Mr E-T-Dane, it actually reminded me of the older style car radios - I used to call them "two-knob" not sure if that's politically correct these days though! Still got my Dad's old Sharp car radio cassette in the garage and it has the same layout.

You know, I think it's time Mr Macroman took us on a tour of his "museum". There must be a room somewhere with all those lovely modded PC's in there, just sitting waiting to be drooled over!

    :D

A great finish to a truly great mod and the case that inspired me to try modding! If I had even half macroman's modding skills I'd be one happy chappie. And his electronics whizzery always blows me away!

Not sure I've ever used this one before, but: :jawdrop:

Same here, Macro Black was the first modded case I ever saw and it inspired me to mod. Looking back on it now you can appreiciate just how far ahead of it's time it really was.
